This was the worst Starbucks visit that I've had in the Tulsa area in 22 years. My wife and I were there Friday night around 650pm and i was apprehensive as I noticed the lady standing outside in the cold waiting for the inside staff to acknowledge her standing at the curbside window. The staff did not notice her and she followed us inside. The staff did not greet us, and did not seem to be happy to be there. There was a long line of people waiting for their drinks. I thought maybe it was just rush hour. But as we waited 15 minutes for our easy and small order of a medium coffee, and single expresso, I realized the staff was clueless. A family of six placed orders right after us. My wife finally got her coffee, then the employee Matt, started making all six of their drinks. I stepped up to ask him where my single expresso was, and he only said it was being made. I call bull. I saw Matt set up the expresso machine and not finish making it. He went to the back counter to work on the family's blended drinks instead. Dude, I'm standing right there and can see everything you are working on, or NOT working on. Dont lie to my face. Halfway thru working on the family's six drinks he quickly slapped a lid on the expresso cup and plopped it on the counter. I opened it and it was NOT a full serving of expresso. Read moreBeen here a couple of times, typically it’s a little more busy and crowded due to the location but service it’s normally pretty great. Except today, about half an hour ago just walked out and a little peeved. Ironically it was not busy at all, walked in and was able to order. A small water cup, a croissant, and a venti pikes place. Well I got the water, and the croissant and then after waiting about 7-10 more minutes, listening to the employees talk about their personal lives and cleaning up behind the bar(as I mentioned it’s not busy at all right now and I’m still waiting for the last piece of my order) finally one of the young ladies politely asked if I was alright or still waiting and I mentioned I’m still waiting for my pikes place (assuming I didn’t need to mention size or what kind of milk assuming they can see what I ordered originally). She brings me out a cup, wrong size and coffee done wrong. So I tell her again how I needed the coffee made what size and all.
Not sure how order taking and all works on the backend, but to forget and also have no idea what my order was with that little traffic is flat out pathetic especially when I’ve seen things run much more smoothly when I’ve had to wait in quite the line there before I...
Read moreI have been to this particular Starbucks few times and got lousy service slow and it takes for ever to get a simple pour over coffee. However last night took the cake . It was raining and I was done with my meeting so I walked over to Starbucks to get a coffee. It was about 7:45 pm. The shelves were empty and no other customers were there so asked if they could make a pour over of Sumatra for me and the lady said yes . I waited for 15 minutes and my wife joined me and the lady said my coffee was ready I asked for sugar and cream and the lady said they were closing I had to leave. I asked if I could sit down and drink my coffee and she said no. How rude! We left and went to my car and watched and they stayed there for another 30 minutes inside cleaning! I finished my coffee and left and they still had not left . I think she could have let me me drink my coffee while they finished closing what restaurant throws customers out after they have paid and gotten their food !
