Wendy's — Restaurant in Tulsa

Upon entering, the restaurant itself seemed fine. The bathroom toilet was covered and filled with urine. So much so, i decided just to hold it. When I ordered, the young man on the register seemed friendly enough, and made sure our orders were right. The food came out in a timely manner, and the quality was normal for Wendy’s. Several of the workers seemed to leave or take a break while we were eating, and none of them seemed to go clean the bathrooms. One man, who seemed to be a cook, proceeded to eat a snack or meal bar standing out next to the counter, and didn’t say anything to or greet a customer that came in. Just stood there eating his bar. Then he went to the bathroom still wearing his apron. That alone makes me never want to go back to that location. On top of everything, both of the soda machines were not working, which meant that we needed to ask someone working there to get our drinks for us behind the counter. That’s not the problem so much as when we went up for a refill, no one acknowledged our existence standing there. We stood there for a few minutes. A young woman employee seemed to purposefully keep her head down so as to not “see” us even though she was facing right at us. When I said, “excuse me!”, she looked up and around like she’s not supposed to leave her post at the drive thru. (Which didn’t have any customers in it.) When I just said, “We just need a refill..” she still seemed hesitant to help us. The other lady on the frying machines called out for someone working in the back to come up. I’m sorry, that’s poor customer service. If you see a customer standing at the counter that is clearly not being helped, you help them. I just can’t with this location. I...

We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. My husband ordered the Dave's single combo and I ordered the apple pecan salad. It was one of the better salads I've had at a fast food restaurant. My husband's burger and fries were very good. The selection of drinks is second to none.

All in all, we were surprised to enjoy the food, when we weren't expecting much.

The only downside to this location is the parking. The lot is small and only has one handicap spot. There is only one door, and to access it from the one side of the parking lot, you have to walk around the building in the narrow car drive, because there is no sidewalk. I normally don't rate fast food restaurants; however, I had to based off my experience last night. To the nice lady who took our order and gave us our food... YOU ARE FABULOUS. Pulling up the drive thru line was out to the street. We decided to wait in line as it was already late and just coming from the airport with 3 young children who had barely eaten all day. Your positive and amazing attitude is the example I wish could be set for all fast foods. I'm sure it was a long day for you. I'm sure we're short staffed. I'm sure you were tired.
