Terrible, excessively overpriced pizza, in a trendy, overcrowded and glorified food court. I went here on a Saturday afternoon. I was hoping to find Andolini's, but this place occupied the space where Andolini's used to be. The menu had 2 slices of pizza for 8.95, which wouldn't be a bad deal if the pizza was good. Since I had never tried their chicken wings, I opted for the piece of pizza and wings meal. It was 11.95. I ordered that meal and a drink. Somehow that totalled $19.15. I waited 10 minutes for my order. When I was paged to pick up my food, I was told that someone had dropped some plastic into the fryer and they couldn't cook the wings for my order. I decided to replace the wings with pizza. I waited another 10 minutes and was paged to pick up my food. I got a paper plate with two slices of pizza on it. So, I paid $19.15 for two pieces of pizza and a 16 ounce bottle of soda. I sat down with my family who had all ordered from different places in the food court, and had also finished their meals. The pizza was awful. It was cold and rubbery. The pepperoni was smaller than a quarter, and the pizza sauce was exactly what you can get from a can bought at the grocery store. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy, and I would think twice about feeding it to my dogs. I hated the food, the service, the price, the atmosphere, and...
Read moreI've never before been to a pizza-by-the-slice place that won't let you just buy a slice. I was told single-slice orders are not allowed; you have to order either a combo (two slices or a slice and wings) or no pizza at all. This checks out with the order-online feature.
Maybe this is actually a brilliant business strategy, but if so, there are a lot of other pizza places out there who are making a mistake by allowing you to order one slice - which is what I did today at the Pie Hole, since Zasa's wouldn't take my order. Given the food-hall setup at MRM, one would think Zasa's would be particularly incentivized not to set a high barrier to ordering.
FWIW, during my previous visit to Zasa's, I did have a single slize of pickle pizza, and it was great. It was a little surprising how long I had to wait, compared to other places, but it was really good. I love local businesses, and I love Andolini's, and I'm disappointed Zasa's has chosen to make it harder to be...
Read moreMy first review was true but customer service was great. Thank you joe I got your message but wasn’t able to take the call! The pizza was good though I’ll be back one day for that pizza!!
First time customer might come back only because they are the only ones who have pickle pizza! But got my order and the pizza was so cold I have to wait even longer to eat because I had to heat it back up! Along with the garlic bread knots mind you they are a giant piece of bread and it’s so dry you can’t hardly chew it! I will be calling the manager to complain and to get a partial refund as not only was the food cold and not the best they are out of pretty much EVERYTHING that might be worth eating. So as a first time customer it might be a last time deal too. Hopefully someone else with better abilities will make the pickle pizza.
Do better and hire people wanting to work not just standing around! Just saying my pizza might have been warm or better if they...
