So over the course of the last few years, I have used S&J. Before covid happened, I used to go to this coffee stand every other day or every two days. I ordered the same drink in the same exact way every single time. The manager at this location, the short lady with the black hair, has always been very very rude. There was a mix-up at one point with how much they were charging for my drink and it was never consistent so one day I showed up al(I wish I had saved the punch card from back then because then I would have it to compare to this one.) Anyhow, she ended up writing on my punch card the amount that my drink cost which at that time was $9.85. keep in mind that this was before covid and prices were a little cheaper than. I did not like that she treated me like a two-year-old when it came to ordering my drink and the price that it cost. She would speak to me very rudely and she made my experience very bitter. I have asked several people that go here and they have never encountered somebody writing the price of their drink on their punch card. Anyhow, fast forward to 2024. I stopped going to s&j's for over a year because she left a bad taste in my mouth. The other girls were amazing and they still are but this lady needs to humble herself. I realize that I am only one customer but if you take $10 a day and multiply it by at least 150 days out of the year, it adds up. So,I stopped going there and I started going to Dutch Brothers where my drink, the same exact size with the same exact coffee in the same exact flavor, only cost $7.45. the atmosphere is way better the people are nicer and they don't put notes in your account or write on your punch card (when they had one.) I started going back to s&j's because Dutch Brothers had closed and so for 4 months I only encountered her a few different times and each time she was still rude but there was never an issue with pricing. So, today I went to go get coffee and I pull out my punch card and to my surprise like, a freaking toddler again, the price is written on my card. She is still rude she still has a control issue and in my opinion she needs to be let go. I work with a lot of people and if I ever did this to one of my customers, I would hope that somebody would step in and make sure that I knew this was not okay. You don't write the price on a customer's punch card. You SHOULD talk to your staff and let them know that "hey this regular that comes in, this is the price that her drink should be ringing up to." It is not my fault your staff does not know how to ring up a drink the same way every time. Why am I being made to feel like I've done something wrong just to get a cup of coffee? So I guess it's back to Dutch Brothers I go because they are open now. I genuinely like the roast of coffee that s&j's uses but it's not worth being treated like crap. Like I said, the other girls are fantastic and if it weren't for this manager lady, I wish I remembered her name, I would still be paying three extra dollars just for my cup of coffee because I love their coffee. She ruins my day when I show up because she's so rude. One last thing... I don't t always get the same drink. So, to write a price on my card, is completely unfair. Fast forward to April 26th, I stopped by to try one last time with an Irish cream breve extra sweet with an extra shot. And I paid $10.05! I know what you're thinking, why do you keep going? They actually have a good roast of coffee and I thought that I would give it one more shot but the girl was literally so rude and this is definitely the last time. You know how hard it is to kick a habit? I had to give it one more shot! That was the last straw. The fact that she was super rude because she probably saw this post makes it even worse because when you see a comment from a customer you're supposed to improve your service and not make it worse. She increased the price because she felt...
Read moreProbably the worst experience I've had in a while. Somehow unable to give me a receipt when I paid cash, then completely messed up my coffee order. After paying almost 10 bucks, because of the specific needs of my order, there were NO flavors put in it, milk substitute was NOT used and I ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT have regular cows milk. The coffee tasted terrible AND it made me sick because the girl working was more concerned with the cute guy on the other side of the stand, than paying attention to my order. I was already running late for work and didn't have the time to go back and wait for it...
Read moreI just had the worst experience at sj's coffee that I'd ever had! The girl working right now with long dark hair just treated me worse than I've ever been treated at any business in my whole life! If I had the owners number and the manager's number I'd be calling them right now. That woman would have been fired years ago at any other coffee place. And I will not come back there again until she's fired. Which is several hundred dollars a year out of your pocket. Heavy coffee drinker heavy buyer. I will be calling the Better Business...
