I had high hopes. We live in the neighborhood and our kids sports team made a plan for team celebration dinner. We had a reservation. Walked in, saw "reserved" ok cool. Male employee asks the name I give some logical name I could think of, I'm wrong. Ok whatever. Not the least bit helpful or kind, certainly NOT welcoming. He made it seem like I could not sit or anything unless I knew the name. Turns out I had said it and they completely misspelled it and had been right. Oof whatever, move on. Order my pizza. Now most everyone is here and kids are certainly keyed up and all. We were a big party and had bought plenty of pizzas, etc to account for the fact that we were a big party. Yes the kids were loud, it's a casual pizza place, frankly we were having fun. Fun should be encouraged. The same male employee came and sort of broke up the kids at the video games, yeah they probably were a little animated. Again, pizza place, not the Ritz. We kept our kids in our space. We did our thing ok whatever. Male employee (same guy) is clearly quite over us in generally and has a ln expression and mug on him like get outta here. We wrapped it up a little faster than we probably could have. We were having fun as a large local sports team. Good business if you get get a 30 top. Brewery City it's the Z's who literally ruin customer service and dining. If we had declared "we're never coming back here bro.. His attitude and demeanor were that of thank goodness you're doing me a favor, I hope your never here again Brewery City focus on the fact that you're an inviting casual family restaurant and hire employees who...
Read morePizza is pretty good, but be prepared to pay for it especially if you want to create your own. We called in and asked for a half and half pizza with 3 toppings on each side. Pepperoni was on both sides and then there were 4 other toppings, but again only 3 on each half. A Giant cheese pizza is $17 and then it is $3.50 per topping. Pizza came out to $33.90. Interesting that I could’ve gotten their Brew-whatever pizza which has 6 toppings for about $25. Is it that much harder to make a half and half pizza that you have to charge about 40% more?!?! Is it more expensive in food costs to do a 3 topping pizza or a 6 topping pizza?!?!
So I asked the manager what the deal was and he said we got a new computer system and that’s the way it does it. I said, well that isn’t the way pizza is sold anywhere in the history of the world and that it needs to be fixed. He said a lot of our customers feel this way since the change but it is the way the owner wants to do it. To which I asked, is it the new computer system or the owner?
HEY OWNER! No kidding, you’ll make a killing if you look for ways to reach deeper into your customers pockets, but guess what... you won’t have customers for too long. Good luck with these...
Read moreA large man with a pony tail was at the register he was frustrated that we didn’t want everything in the buffalo chicken. He couldn’t figure out how to take off ingredients we didn’t want. We ordered two salads my grand daughter didn’t want blue cheese, onions or tomato’s. I asked for cashews and onion on the side. He got so frustrated he ponded the counter. Both salads were served with everything in them. We both ordered ciders. After waiting 10 minutes my daughter asked for our drinks. He said he would bring them out. He continued to take orders and didn’t bring the drinks. I went up a few minutes later and he told me the same thing. I refused to go back to my table. He then came out and said they were out of the ciders we ordered he gave us a different one that was not good. I observed the person making pizza wearing gloves that he used to make pizza, then going to register, took orders then back to...
