There's a lot going on at this location. Slow service was due to a great deal of visible inefficiency in the kitchen. The cleanliness of the establishment was very poor. Dirty floor, dirty countertop and shelves where food and utensils were placed looked like they needed some cleanliness I observed the fry station attendant repeatedly handle the food directly plucking it out of the tray and filling the cardboard food box, and his choice of using gloves obviously was optional. (Joshua?) The fry station freezer door wasn't a door as it was off the hinges and leaning from floor to the appliance, (filthy floor too) so anything in the freezer wasn't being kept at preferred temperature. The assembly lines had filthy stations and the team members were used to skipping the gloves while handling the food, but wouldn't matter anyway as there were a couple of them who repeatedly preened their hair and face. The wash station in the back was high with dishes and the member was wiping down the trays with an apparent dirty cleanup rag. The front counter attendant wasn't attending well as she was repeatedly back on the line plating customer meals and delivering them. As for my meal it was on the prep countertop for some time waiting for assembly. I ordered fish soft taco and mexi-fries. Cold fries been out of the fryer for at least 5 minutes prior to being boxed and placed under the heat station above the prep line. In general, I believe that this location was understaffed, lacking training for the team members, and had a health inspector walked into the establishment, it would have received a...
Read moreI recently dined at Taco Time and left feeling quite disappointed with my experience. Despite paying premium prices, I found the portions of beef in my meal to be lacking, and the corn tortillas tasted anything but fresh. This was not my first encounter with disappointment at Taco Time. Months ago, when I inquired about employment opportunities, I was informed that the ongoing construction had led to decreased sales, resulting in minimal working hours for employees. It's disheartening to see that even with fewer customers, the quality of service and food hasn't improved.
As a customer, I expect value for the prices I pay, and unfortunately, Taco Time fell short of meeting that expectation. By neglecting the needs of their customers, even the few they have during this challenging time, Taco Time is risking further profit loss. It's imperative for them to remember that there are plenty of other dining options available, especially when their prices are comparable to more authentic alternatives.
In conclusion, Taco Time needs to prioritize customer satisfaction and quality to thrive in a competitive market. Otherwise, they risk losing more customers like myself who expect better value for...
Read moreAlways consistent, however, it saddened me to find out you now have to pay for the sauces to dip your burrito in like the ranch which we had always gotten for free. Been quite a while since I had been at a Taco Time so not sure when this changed. The last decision they made that bummed me out was taking the half taco salad off the menu. It is such a waste of food because I and my friends (rarely there at the same time...if we are, we share) can only eat half of one. In a time when food is so vital to folk, and a salad like taco salad doesn't really hold, it just seems terrible to force people into wasting when having the half salad option was great for everybody. Especially if you can't find someone to split. Just resistance to change, I guess. I do also appreciate the very small size of tots. Perfect serving size!! I wish I could...
