Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe - Tupelo — Restaurant in Tupelo

Chelsey, Chelsea, Chels... You were amazingly bad at basic customer service. We will never be back. That was absolutely insane. We placed an order the night of the 13th and it was made incorrectly, the manager that night was very friendly and helpful. When we went back today, the manager was rude over the phone and acted like she had no idea what we were talking about. After we ordered the same meal from last night, she said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. We arrived approximately 25 minutes after the phone call and when my 16 year old cousin went in, expecting to just grab the food quickly and be done with it, the manager was unable to find for 5 minutes, then when she came up front she was very short and rude to him. A SIXTEEN YEAR OLD BOY. Then, he proceeds to stand there and wait for another 15 minutes, when I go inside and after 5 more minutes, 20 total, we get the food. When the manager came out to hand it to us she shoved the bag towards him, didn’t say a single word, and immediately turned away. They were not busy, I work in a restaurant as a server, I have worked in the food industry for years and I have never been so absolutely disgusted with the way such a small situation was handled. There is no reason for her to be a manager if she cannot handle unhappy customers, if she wants to act disrespectful to a child, and if she will make someone who already had a bad experience have an even worse one. I will never go back in that...

First, I want to start off by saying we have been to this restaurant quite a few times and every now and then, there are a few hiccups. However, unlike most restuarants the staff attempt to make things right and don't seem to come off as careless as most places you encounter in this day and age. I'm a little confused as to some people negative reviews regarding real Mediterranean food. Not quite sure if you know where you are, however this is Mississippi and does not happen to be known for that type of food. So if your looking for REAL Mediterranean food. You may want to go and visit some places that are known for that type of food. Google is just one tap away. Do yourself a favor and find it. But in the meantime Taziki's does a pretty good job at bringing you some form of Mediterranean food. May not be truly authentic, however the restaurant doesn't claim to serve that. That's like comparing Pizza Hut to deep dish pizza in Chicago....get real! It clearly is not going to be the same. If your expectations are that high, make it at home yourself! Keep up the great work Taziki's....I'm still a fan and will continue to patronize this...

Loved the place..!! loved the food..!! We were in Tupelo for couple of days and we got our dinner from Taziki's the day we reached there. We got it as a to-go. The food was yumm.. it was soo tasty yet healthy.. that day we ordered chicken gyro, roasted potatoes, some lamb dish .. also baklava and dark chocolate cake. The food was that yum that we decided to go again for lunch the day we were leaving. This time, we ate there. Nice cozy feel.. simple yet attractive decor. I loved the big frames on the wall.. the pics of people and places.. The staff was friendly .. good service. We ordered veggie gyro and grilled chicken and got couscous, roasted potatoes, chips and greek salad as a side, dark chocolate cake fir dessert. The food was delicious, again. Those roasted potatoes and the couscous salad.. super yummy..!! A very good start and end of our Tupelo trip with Taziki's delicious healthy food.. 😊 I totally fell in love with Taziki's.. great choice of healthy and delicious food.. i can go and can have my every meal there 😛 will definitely love to go again to Taziki's.. thumbs up for their healthy food.....
