First time here, hubs & i decided to go here based on the reviews. It was packed so we sat at the bar. As I said, they were very busy so we sat there about 10 minutes before the bartender asked what we wanted to drink. PBR on tap was $1. About 5-10 minutes later we got menus and placed our order. I got the Cow-Chick sandwich with onion rings and hubs got mild wings with rings too! Food arrived approximately 20 minutes later. The chick is a spin off of Chick-fil-A’s pickle soaked chicken breast. It looked amazing!! However, half the bottom bun was soggy and with the first bite of chicken half the crust fell off. Dang. 😔 About 1/3 of the way through the sandwich all the crust was off. Chicken was a touch dry. Onion rings were pretty tasty. Hubs wings were subpar/standard, and not juicy. I ordered a margarita. I’d venture to say if she up’d the interaction (NOT FLIRTING OR ANYTHING INAPPROPRIATE) but quick small talk or even a smile, she’d probably increase her tips by $100 a night. We’d be willing to give it another try if we’re...

I felt rushed. I travel the country for work, and between being alone at peak dinner time on a Saturday and my work attire, I kinda stuck out. Several people kept staring at me and everything was given to me so fast and the reciept came so fast that I just felt unwelcome. I wanted to have dessert too but honestly my appetite was ruined (on top of the fact that the reciept was bought to me so quickly) I couldn't even bring myself to finish eating, I just wanted to leave.
Food was great, awesome family atmoshpere, but if you come alone and don't like sitting at a bar, just don't waste your time.
Food and atmosphere is well beyond 5 stars, but the most important part (actually enjoying my time and meal) just wasn't there.
I'd absolutely love to try this place again, next time I'm in town I'll probably give it another try. It really was good food and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, I just had a...

I live 150 miles south of Tupelo but I will gladly drive it again to eat here! The food was "kiss the chef" fabulous! Our waitress was TOP SHELF! They even brought my niece's daughter an unopened gift of toys to play with to keep her occupied! If you have not ever eaten at Lone Star Schooner Bar and Grill in Tupelo, you should most definitely give them a try! There is something on their menu to satisfy...
