Im not one to make reviews but, I’m honestly furious and heartbroken after what I’ve seen happen in this restaurant. There’s a blonde-headed hostess who works there, and every single time I’ve been in (at least three separate times now), she’s been treated terribly. She’s constantly singled out, talked down to, and tonight I watched her get yelled at over what seemed like a simple mistake. She looked humiliated and completely defeated, and it broke my heart to see her run out of the restaurant crying while no one even bothered to check on her.

When I called up there afterward, the manager actually asked, “Was it the skinny one?” — which came across as incredibly disrespectful and body-shaming. That alone shows the lack of professionalism and empathy from management.

What’s even worse is that this isn’t a one-time thing. Every time I’ve come in, I’ve noticed the same pattern. One of the times we were in there a short brown headed hostess would constantly talk over her, stare at her with an ugly look, and cut her off whenever she tried to speak — even when all she seems to be doing is trying to make conversation or connect with her coworkers and do her job. She’s always left standing there alone, singled out, like she doesn’t belong.

Tonight it was especially heartbreaking. When we walked in, she was standing quietly behind the host stand by herself while everyone else laughed and talked to each other. She looked sad and completely left out. When she did try to ask a question, no one responded — they just kept talking like she wasn’t even there. She was very soft-spoken, overwhelmed, and clearly just trying to hold it together.

It’s painfully obvious that there’s favoritism going on, and that this poor girl has been pushed to the outside. Every time I’ve seen her, she looks exhausted — like she’s just a young woman trying to work hard, build toward something, and survive whatever she’s going through. She deserves kindness, not humiliation.

People forget that poor girl is a human being too. Everyone makes mistakes. No one deserves to be yelled at, ignored, or treated like they don’t exist. What’s happening in that restaurant is cruel and unprofessional, and it needs to change. Management and staff seriously need to do better — because this is absolutely heartbreaking to witness. I hope that beautiful young lady knows we see her and we know...

Nice atmosphere. Visited on Valentine's weekend and wait was relatively short, was seated well before the greeter advised we would. That is always a breath of fresh air. Our children loved watching the chef as the he jazzed out our meal. For Southern children that lives on the staple of Southern cuisine, they shockingly raved about the food and the chef's skills. A solid visit all the around and I guarantee one will not leave hungry. Only constructive criticism I can provide is the energy of the chef sets the entire meal's tempo and experience. Ours maybe was a bit tired, but I can understand that. But on a high note, he even let one of our children sample a few different options that she did not order, which in turn prompted her to want to return and order the new options the next time. A bit pricey, coming in at $95 dollars for 2 adults and 3 children, but the chef's show is worth the difference. Now if only I could figure out a super spicy dish to eat in there the next time we visit. Well played chef, well played. Only other feature I didn't care for was being sat with other people I had no idea who was but understood why. A place everyone needs to go atleast once and maybe a few more times, just to explore the menu...

If you have a food allergy. DON'T EAT HERE!! We went for dinner Saturday evening, placed our orders, order drinks and appetizers. Our server then returned and said my food would be cooked in the kitchen instead on the hibachi due to my allergy. I explained to him that we just ate here 2 weeks ago and there was no problem cooking my food on the hibachi grill. I asked to speak to the manager. Once the manager came over she said they couldn't cook my food on the grill. I explained to her that they did it 2 weeks ago. The cook come out and was talked to by the manager about our situation and he immediately left and went back to the kitchen to "reprep" the food. However they didn't want us to know that the cook left my food and another person at the grilles food off as well. Our cook had the nastiest attitude while cooking our food. Even interacted with everyone else at the grill except us. We were not even asked if our food was good. We left without a work. The manager was quiet rude as well, but think she didn't understand what was going on plus she didn't want to blame her staff. Thats the whole reason I come to hibachi, I want to watch you cook my food, not...
