Your new favorite pizza is at a gyro place. I'm not even joking. Glorybound Gyros has a wonderful flavor combination of good meats, great sauces and fluffy bread too combine into a perfectly solid gyro. The balance is right on point compared to other gyros in town and the price is great, especially if you hit it on the $6 gyro day. However, their cooks bring old staples of T-town back to life on the pizza. Fluffy enough to be soft in the middle but crunchy to the bite, the crust is artistic and unmatched until Mellow Mushroom returns - and even then, you're looking at a tie. The same great toppings for the gyro work wonders here, and the whole assembly is a delight to bite into. Treat yourself one day, this is worth the cost plus. Going in at 1-2pm I'm no good to comment on service, but it did more than fine for my tastes and earned its 20%. GBG may be the place to flip the Red Drew corner curse. Keep putting this food out and I'm sure it will.

I wanted to try something different. My friend and I stopped here for lunch. Parking is limited to a side road with construction right now thanks to a sinkhole that opened up. We ordered at 11:08, and five minutes later the food was brought to our table. The Gyros were on special today at a reduced price. I ordered the Surf-N-Turf gyro. Marinated steak and grilled shrimp wrapped with onions, peppers, sautéed mushrooms, Pepper Jack cheese, and comeback sauce. My friend had the Veggie gyro. Zucchini, squash, peppers, onions, and mushrooms wrapped with lettuce, topped with feta cheese and homemade tzatziki. They came with fries. The sandwich was a handful and delicious. The fries were similar to the ones at Checkers, but better tasting. It was definitely a filling meal. They play loud punk rock music in the background, which was a little too loud for our liking. The place didn't get busy until it was almost noon.

This restaurant is within walking distance of Embassy Suites and the Home2 (a bit farther). We were promptly seated, our drink order was taken and we had menus in hand in shirt order. Our server was nice, but slightly inefficient. Our sauce on the side was forgotten and my brother's gyro didn't come with crispy bacon like it should have. At least the price difference was negligible and the taste was still very good. The $5 gyros all day on Tuesday special made the mistakes easy to overlook. This is a fact we had to determine on our own though it was something I would think a server should make sure to share. Overall we had a great experience with the service and food. The only reason this location lost a star was the lack of cleanliness. Upon entry the whole place smelled musty and dingy. The floors were sticky and the bathrooms weren't great.

This review should actually be zero stars. I had the Greek nachos and requested no jalapeños. I opened the Togo box and it looked like someone put a huge handful of jalapeños on the nachos. The mozzarella cheese wasn’t melted on the nachos, and there wasn’t suppose to have any mozzarella because the menu says to choose between feta, mozzarella, or pepperjack and I requested the feta only. The ground beef was actually pieces of the gyro which was quite disappointing and should say ground gyro meat instead. There was only a tiny spoonful of Taziki in the middle of the nachos, so it was difficult to eat because it was dry. The veggie gyro i got had a piece of hair in it. Also the sauce in the gyro tasted like it had mayonnaise in it. Overall, I’m quite disappointed with the food and had high expectations considering the amount of good reviews on google. The food was $30 in total… I would rather spend my money elsewhere where the food quality...
