It's been 4 years since ive been in the Pub. The first time I went, the experience with the waitress and the bar was spectacular.( The same girl served us everytime and took wonderful care of us, I can't remember her name bc it has been so long but she was very kind, and knew everything we had a question about. I'd describe her as a "flower girl". Last world cup, was when she served us. Best service i've ever received. Recently I went back and prior to going in, I bragged to my friends about the service and one on one connection we had received anywhere(new to town). The recent experience was no where near what I had talked it up to be to my friends, our waitress was rude and had no idea what price any of the alcohol was. She actually quoted us the wrong price and was off by 6 or 7 dollars. To me, that's not good service. Not to mention we sat at our table for almost 20 minutes waiting on someone to greet us.(It was not crowded). When we mentioned prices being wrong, the waitress was not concerned. Very disappointing. We will NOT return to a...
Read moredon’t go here. innis really dropped the ball yesterday. the banana bar crawl came to tuscaloosa, which was a $30 ticket. the ticket included FREE entry to all the bars, costumes, a lanyard, and special drink deals. my group arrived early and were the first bananas to get there. the bartender told us that innis is not participating in the bar crawl, even though 3 groups were assigned to start at innis. she was so disgustingly rude to us. around 1:50 everyone else started to arrive. hundreds of bananas lol. the bouncers started charging cover even though the reason you buy the ticket is for free cover. one of the bartenders said it’s because they “couldn’t give everyone drinks all day (they didn’t have enough supplies) and are trying to get people to leave” everyone started dm-ing the banana bar crawl and they told all of us to get a refund and leave. super stuck up bartenders, ruined the fun for a lot of people. shoutout to 1225, houndstooth, daq shack, galettes, and rounders for keeping the...
Read moreInnisfree Pub had a rustic Irish pub look to it. This place is located at a really beautiful spot. However, that beautiful rustic feel was not complemented well with their food taste. The atmosphere was really good considering it was summertime. The patio seating is definitely recommendable and had a great view too. They had a good drinks menu with a fine selection of Irish signature drinks. The food was nothing extraordinary. The shepherd's pie tasted a little bland. Normally, shepherd's pies come with a baked crust on top. This one, however, had no such thing and was pretty mundane with few strings of cheeses sprinkled on top. I had expected a little more considering this is their signature in-house special. The fish and chips however was good. Overall, this place is a nice spot to hangout on a warm summer evening with a Guiness. I just wished their food was a little better, like it's contemporaries in...
