I’m giving the 205 a five star rating. I didn’t enjoy any food; I could not provide a rating for food. However I did order a Paloma while I admired the view of Downtown Tuscaloosa. Went to The 205 to check it out for a potential baby shower venue for approximately 30 people is perfect. The staff was friendly and professional. There was no problem receiving the sales/event coordinator information. The Sales/event coordinator responded promptly to our email inquiry. Conveniently located. Nice atmosphere. Plenty of free parking.

(Located on the sixth floor of Homewood Suites) I stayed at Homewood Suites for two weeks and ordered here a few times. I ordered the Elevated Burger several times. Tried it with the chips and with the fries. Picked up and dined in. I ordered the wings once. Big letdown. They were sauced but not seasoned. On a positive note, the customer service was spot on. One time the order took longer than anticipated, so they threw in a little extra for the inconvenience. If staying at Homewood Suites, you have to visit at least once.

It was empty with no wait on a Friday during the summertime. It was just okay. I do remember the chicken wings being chewy and the ice cream not being very soft. They also could not do a side Caesar salad which was disappointing when they had a Caesar salad on the menu. They did not have very many gluten free options. My husband enjoyed his meal. It was a nice view.

1 stars for the view. Zero for everything else. The food was gross and the service was pitiful. Ordered the Parmesan truffle fries that are advertised to have truffles and fresh grated Parmesan. It was flash fried frozen French fries with Kraft (green lid) parm sprinkled on the top. Best part was mixed in the fries was an old piece of pita bread that must have come from the bottom of the fryer. So that tells you the cleanliness of the fryer. Ordered simple burger and sliders for an entree. Burger was pretty basic and ok. Sliders included a pulled pork slider that left an awful taste in our mouth. Not sure but the meat seemed quite old. When we ordered we were told that it came with fresh, hot homemade potato chips. If they indeed made those chips, they made them last week. They were cold, stale and tasted of rancid old oil. When we pointed out that the chips were cold and stale the response from the waiter was “oh, ok. I’ll let them know”. Asked for water numerous times and never got a refill. Just bad. Bad bad bad. View was great. Hopefully another restaurant takes over this place when it gets shut down by the...

the food and drinks were decent - certainly not good enough to justify the abysmal service and prices. we were told to seat ourselves, and no one brought us a menu. it actually took another patron requesting that the server bring us menus. we placed our orders immediately, but it still took forty minutes to get our drinks. given that only two or three people were sitting at the bar, i don’t understand what could have possibly caused such a delay. after that, we waited another forty minutes for our food to arrive. again, the restaurant was not crowded, and our orders were simple - two burgers and fries. they were good, i will admit, but, again, not good enough to justify a wait of more than an hour. i don’t know if it was a failure on the part of the wait staff or the kitchen, but it was certainly a failure. and to top it all off, the prices were outrageous, and not in a good way. everything was far too expensive. i usually tip well no matter the service, but this experience was simply so terrible that i felt compelled to leave an equally terrible tip. i will certainly not be returning, and i will not recommend that anyone eat at...

I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but this was over the top. Made a dinner reservation for after our event. We walked in when it was time and we’re glared at then ignored. Finally Brittany the supervisor snapped at us they had no tables. I told her we had a reservation. She said too bad, there was no seating they were too busy. She wouldn’t allow us to sit at the bar and eat because my daughter isn’t yet 21. 1)There was no need to be so rude 2)The reservation had my phone number, all they had to do was call and tell me it was canceled. At this point it was too late to go anywhere else. I asked if we could place a to go order. She begrudgingly said we could. 20min later I ask the hostess if we will ever be able to place our order. They finally send a server over to take our order. 40min later we get our food. They somehow managed burned AND cold. (At this point there are many angry patrons waiting on food orders.) We had eaten here before and it was wonderful. It ended up being an expensive badly prepared meal that I have no intention of repeating. The entire mess could’ve been avoided with a simple phone...
