Waffle House — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

Just left the waffle house on oscar baxter dr WORST EVER PLEASE DON'T GO! I WILL NOT RETURN! When I first arrived part of the crew was on the lobby partying witj the customers, I had to ask for someone to take mu order because tje nlack girl loud said she lost her order book. Finally another waitress took my order. I watched the cook take a towel off the grill handle after cooking some eggs wiped the pan out and put it back on top of the other pans and ised the same pan to recook someone else order. Then on top of all that BS one of the workers threw some jelly at another worker missed her and hit me The customer with it. I thought I was neong punked. I even asked the staff was I in a real restaurant? Then on top of that BS MY ORSER WAS WRONG! That's why fights break out at that ghetto place because of the ghetto crew they have employed there. STORE MANAGER, CEO, OWNER of this restaurant should be embarrassed and ashamed. The only reason why I didn't cancel this order because it was for someone else. The person got mad at me because he said I should have cancelled the order and got the money back. I repaid him for the food and tossed that BS in the trash! Damn lost out both ways! Absolutely DISGUSTING restaurant and wait staff!!!!! We went there after the Alabama -Texas A&M game around 2 am. There was one little old lady who couldn't do her job of seating guests properly because the wait staff couldn't be bothered to do their job at all.

People were standing and sitting on chairs waiting to be seated but nearly every table was dirty or covered in dirty dishes piled up in stacks that looked about to fall over at any minute.

The wait staff and cooks looked DIRTY. No one had a clean uniform on; one white waitress kept scratching her face and scalp while the other just wandered around. One black waitress with false eyelashes was rude to customers and co-workers alike. When my wife asked for a spoon to stir our coffee she was handed one that looked as if it had never been washed. When I asked for a clean spoon, our waitress SUCKED HER TEETH & THREW a plastic one at us!

The only thing ANY of the wait staff cared about was being able to do less work than the others. The cooks were frustrated because the board was full of orders that the wait staff wouldn't serve.

I went in and it took at least 5 min for the waiter to even ask what I wanted to drink not to mention it wasnt busy at all and I have great patience even if it was. Once I got my drink it was in a carryout cup while the people that came in behind me got the dine in cups, so I didnt think nothing of that then once my order was taken I specifically ordered a waffle to my surprise I'm still waiting while the people that recently walked in got their waffles before me. I ate a omelet and hash brown and still no waffle. My waiter was in the area and knew I ordered a waffle and made no effort to tell the cooks until I finished my food. SMH all around horrible experience at this location im absolutely positively sure I want return or reccomend this location District Manager Jacob was actually one of the cooks and tried to act surprise once confronted.
