Castañeda's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Twentynine Palms

The worst service I have ever had!!! If there was an option to not have any stars that is what i would put. Ordered food and let them know I did not want sour cream on my order. I also wanted my order deep fried. I for one do not live close to location. I got home and the order had sour cream and wasn't deep fried. The order was almost $100 due to me purchasing the same thing for my family all of it was wrong. I called the place back and explained to them what happened. The little boy that had answered Said to come back with food and receipt and they can do something about it. I traveled all the way back to try and fix the order. The little boy acknowledged that it was me who called in and I repeated exactly what I told him on the phone which was the sour cream and being deep fried. He told me a secret sauce goes on the San Felipe burritos which is wrong. I have ordered them in the past. The manager intervened and said it was a white sauce and I told her to show me the bottle and she lied. In fact it was sour cream. The piss poor manager lady started arguing w/ me in front of her staff telling me she did not want to re make the burritos unless I paid half again which would be more money over a hundred dollars. Poor service and poor management. Teaching staff to be rude and customer service sucks!!!! Never coming to this...

Waited 28 minutes to get my order. To begin, I order a kids meal which included a drink, I asked for A fresh water and was told that it was not included. Long story short I paid for a brand new cup, just to get the exact same cup/size for the kids meal. Ok, let that go. Waited 28 LONG minutes, I finally get my order it was wrong. Then I was told that they couldn't include guacamole, well why didn't. They tell me that when I was ordering? Then, instead offering to fix, or even charge me for the guacamole... They simply say, you want your money back? Really!?!? * really? Then the girl says, "well were behind". I told her that shouldn't affect the quality of their service. She ended up asking if I wanted to refund my entire order, I did! Just sorry I wasted my time and patience here. Conclusion, go to a place where they will give you and care for good service as well as the food you order. Some people take customer loyalty...

The place is a little run down. The drive-thru sign is small and old and their microphone doesn't work right I guess. They have gotten my order wrong on two occasions, and the last time they refused to switch it out unless I had my receipt (even though it was extremely slow and there were no other customers). I got angry because with the price of gas I'd have to drive back home, then back again due to their mistake. And they were not apologetic at all. The customer service and their attitudes leave a lot to be desired! Watch your tires as there are loose rocks and asphalt in the drive-thru and it's not even clear where to go. Inside seems dirty, the staff, with the exception of one or two, is rude and I would recommend anywhere else as the food portions are small for the price and leave much to be desired.
