So, Chipotle. No, it isn't a traditional Mexican restaurant. It is Tex Mex served fast and made how you want it.
Think the Subway of burritos. You tell them which items you want inside (or in a bowl if you don't want the tortilla). They lay it all on the tortilla and wrap it up. I'm amazed they can close the tortilla. That baby is usually as big around as my forearm. With the different ingredients, you can really make your meal so many different ways.
The lime salt on their tortilla chips is like crack, so addictive and the guacamole is dangerously good. Way too easy to fill up on the chips and guacamole, and not have room for your burrito.
The food is way above what i expect from "fast food". The kitchen is very clean. The staff have always been polite and work quickly.
Lets talk location. This is Chipotle's 2nd attempt in Twin Falls. Their first store went out of business a few years ago. This wasn't the fault of the food or staff. Their first location was terrible. Hard to get to, parking was a joke. Subsequent restaurants in the same location have failed. The current Chipotle is far easier to access, to find parking, to even find.
I wish these guys nothing but success and it seems like the 2nd time is the charm for Chipotle...
Read moreWAY TO GO TWIN FALLS!!! Screwed this one up again. It's true what the manager at the store said, "Chipotle is better near Military Posts." I was hopeful but the horrible experiences at the new TF Chipotle made a Cafe Rio customer out of me. I won't be going a 3rd time.
The portion sizes are beyond small.
Even when they aren't busy, they are slow.
Rude Managers and some of the employees.
Asking a simple question was like I asked them to solve world peace with my burrito.
Food was over cooked, rice was hard, meat was either cardboard or leather, pinto beans were rock hard, and the tortilla wasn't cooked fully.
Tried charging me for extra meat when I asked for extra cheese. Asked for a Mexican coke and got a very rude response.
Asked if they did Military/Veteran discount and got the rudest response. I asked for a manager and come to find out he was the manager.
1st time I went there. I ordered online and when I got there, the drive thru line was unbelievable, so since my order was supposedly done, I went inside, only to be told that I "need to follow directions" and that I needed to use the drive thru. So I did and guess what my food was poorly...
Read moreGot off work and placed an order for pickup. Was quoted that the order would be done in 5-10 minutes. I expected longer due to the fact that this location had just opened. I ordered around 40 minutes before I needed my food. Got there and it was not ready. I stood there for 25 minutes before I finally went to the register to get the status of my order. I was told it was going to be another hour wait and to get in the normal food line. Got in that line and tried to order the same thing that I placed my app order for. It was not fully available, I asked if I could get a refund for the parts that weren’t available. I was told that they couldn’t and I had to call someone to get my refund. I asked what the number was or how to find it and I was told “I don’t know we don’t have the number.”
First of all train your employees, this seems like an important thing to know. Secondly, if your online order fulfillment is over one hour backed up, maybe turn it off? Maybe disable letting people order certain things if they’re not in stock? All in all a horrible experience. Regardless of if you just...
