I am actually sad to write this review... That being said we live in walking distance from a Great Harvest in Boise and our family are regular customers. We love the place. So when I saw one in Twin, I said perfect! I went inside at 7:15am on March 26th for a breakfast sandwich to go. The building was clean & there were 3 men baking in the back that politely said good morning. But there was a younger girl working the front of the place who did not appear to enjoy working there or desire to politely answer my questions. I asked a couple questions about what came on the sandwich, and she asked me if I had read the menu and pointed above. I said "Yes but" and she interupinte me saying "Okay then". I uncomfortably ordered my sandwich adding extra avocado. She asked if I wanted a half or a whole. I said a half, sure. But was then charged for a full, when I brought it to her attention she informed me "It's the same price either way." So I asked her to make a full if that's the policy, a bit confused by it. Then when my sandwhich was finished I politely said "Thank you." regardless of the service provided. And to ad insult to injury the reply was not a 'You're Welcome' it was ''Mhm" with a head nod. The service was not anything close to the standard of what I've had at many other Great Harvests and I was very unimpressed. Oh, and get to my car and to just ice the cake, there was no avocado on my...
Read moreBread is pretty good but sadly the staff are consistently bad. It seems like maybe there’s no supervision or something because these girls can’t get a simple order out correctly within an hour. We were waiting well past their closing time as they chatted, ate, made themselves drinks, and closed the store around us. Cashier said the order (two sandwiches and one drink) would take 15 minutes. No one followed up to let us know that we’d be there for over an hour and zero apologies for the wait. People who came in well after us also got their food before we did. I would understand if they were slammed or something but it was dead. I like their location but unfortunately this was not the first time the service has been terrible. Only thing worth the trouble of going inside is...
Read moreThis is the customer who requested your Raspberry Whipped Butter on several occasions because, apparently, you had stopped making it during the holiday season. Finally, I was told I could place a “special order” so I requested 4 containers of this butter to be picked up the following day. What I received was 4 containers of hard butter with raspberry liquid floating in it. I should have just refused it but, instead, I paid the $26 and brought it home thinking I could us my hand mixer to whip it myself. Bad idea, all it did was make a mess and I was still left with pink butter that did not turn out light and fluffy. Knowing that I could not return food products for health reasons, I simply threw it away. A very...
