The manager, Lady G where do I begin.... When I called the office to see if there were vacancies I left a message, within 10 minutes she called back stating she had none. I told her I was in route from Mississippi and I would be there Friday morning, she told me she would put my name on the list. When we arrived Friday morning, I called and she said come over she did have a room. When I initially spoke with her you could hear the pleasantry in her voice and when I met her she was beyond my expectations!!! I have lived in hotel rooms across the country, my fiance is a construction worker, hands down this has beaten any place we have stayed. Lady G does everything here, she is maintenance, custodial and pool cleaner. Lady G is a woman of her word, when we arrived she only had a small room and she promised us that we would be getting a bigger room soon, and boy did she come through. The kitchenette room is terrific!! It is the size of a small one-bedroom apartment. The property is well maintained, only because of G. Everyday she is blowing the sidewalk, mopping the sidewalk and cleaning the pool. The hotel is on a major thoroughfare but you never hear any traffic in your room. My only complaint is all the rooms are smoke-free. But there is a beautiful enclosed smoking area / patio that is directly across from the enclosed saltwater pool and jacuzzi. If you are looking for an extended stay, if I could I would give this...
Read moreThe hotel staff are very welcoming and accommodating. They took very good care of our every need while we were there like we were staying in a resort. I was the first to arrive and I backed into a very large potted plant. They were in matching custom ordered vases. They took very careful care of me and were more concerned about me, and how upset I was, than they were about the plant. I ran and got a pot to hold it that was the same color, but it takes time to order the vases, I never heard about it again. They were kind through anything we needed and our needs were met quickly like we were the only ones there. My mother plugged something in in her room, I can't recall what it was, and popped the power. After we figured it outđ they were very gracious in just fixing the whole bottom floor. We had two rooms. We had a couple issues and we were a long way from home. It was very comforting to have their understanding and support. I can't even list all they did for us. The food was awesome every morning, the cookies were fresh all day. Big giant chocolate chip cookies, so yummy. The pool was refreshing and the fire pit was relaxing. It's an amazing little place! This is hands down the best place I have ever stayed anywhere in the world. Kindness and service go a long way. This little slice of heaven has it all. If you're ever in the area, and you need a place to stay, this is where you want to be! Thanks for...
Read moreURGENT! Please read. The pictures and review a are completely deceiving. The first room I checked into had a repulsive body oder. Have never smelled anything like it. Noticeable stains everywhere, missing towels, coffee, not vacuumed. After asking for a new room- I ended up in a suite upstairs. Smelled better, but the street and AC unit noise was very loud and I did not sleep well. Bought ear plugs for the first time in my life to sleep the second night. Lots of cars drag racing down the Blvd. And it got worse- there was a noticeable generator motor running underneath the room and it literally vibrated my bed. Not to mention I did not feel safe. The clientele was shady. I noticed a car with no plates parked on the side of hotel - two people in the passenger seat- steamed windows. I should have gone with my gut instinct and left to book elsewhere for the same exact price! My dog was miserable. There was a small 15âx15â patch of grass for your pet to use. You could not walk across area w/o stepping in crap. ||||Once home, I promptly washed all my belongings including myself and the dog. Fingers crossed I didnât bring bed bugs home. ||||Iâm an Idaho native and have stayed at my fair share of older hotels. Most would be considered run down- yet clean. This one should have a disclaimer: requires tetanus shot...
