My wife and I decided to checkout Brewsters because it was something new and we wanted to experience this place now what I’m about to share about this place might offend, shock or disappointment some who would read my comment but it’s the truth. We walk in and realize that there are no people of color in this establishment but we wanted to make the best of it because the color of business is green, we were seated and our server came over to greet us and proceeded to take our drink order and recommend some specialty items. So she took our order and left I ordered a salad for my appetizer so we wait and two other couples came in about 20 minutes later and was seated so ten minutes goes by and the couple across from us got his salad before me all the while I still haven’t gotten my salad. Ten minutes later my salad came and my wife looks like WTH? Why did it take so long so I’m skeptical of eating the salad , so we wait for our food to come and the two couples got there food before us, ate and paid their bill so right now we’re are heated about the situation, I asked the hostess to contact our server she came over and we told her to ring us up for the salad and two soft drinks she apologized cause we didn’t get our food and wanted to see the manager. No manager came over so I just left $25.00 to cover the cost and we left. As we drove home my wife had tears in her eyes trying not to cry and we didn’t say much till we got home. Now I try to give people the benefit of the doubt to be civil and honest but this is FUBAR, it shows me that racism is alive and kicking and it doesn’t matter what you do or what you think or how you carry yourself….They only see one thing and that’s the color of your skin. I will never go to this place again so no 0 stars for my recommendation and this took place Saturday November 16th 2024 between the hours of 5:30...
Read moreMy wife and I had been wanting to try this place for some time. For starters, those beautiful young people who greeted us at the door were WONDERFUL. I wish I could tell you their names. But, it was totally different from treatment we'd received at another restaurant we attempted to go to just before we came here! (I'll just say that the other place was located on a golf course and leave it at that.) They were attentive and welcoming, and they sat us right away.
We ordered the pretzels, which came out warm, soft, and salty just like they should be. These also came with a side of queso to do them in. And we got the Barbecue wings, too.
My wife had the Patty Melt. Which is a grilled brisket burger, American, caramelized onion, and grilled rye bread.
I had the Brewster Burger. Which is Ground Brisket meat, formed into a burger patty and covered with Apple wood smoked bacon, over easy egg, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and a brioche bun. But I had them fry my egg hard because I don't like my food to be able to run away while I'm trying to eat it.
I paired that with a Spicey Brew Works - 3 Ho's Christmas Ale they had on tap at the time. This draft beer is described as a full-bodied Amber Ale with a beautiful ruby hue and notes of caramel and dark cherry, then finishes smooth with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and ginger. It went perfectly with that brisket.
It was a wonderful experience that we hope to...
Read moreMy recommendation: only go for drinks and music, take a hard pass on a meal there. If you are hungry, you can get a better chicken sandwich at Arby's across the road and you don't have to I clude gratuity. If you want more deets continue reading. The review isn't completely bad.
Cool atmosphere with live music. Great Midwestern service. Although the atmosphere and service have a great vibe and it seems upscale, the food not only falls short, but is also flat. My chicken street tacos were subpar. The had solid flavor, but the chicken was dry and flavorless. The chicken seemed like it was the frozen, pre-cooked with grill marks and no seasoning. The taco shells were not doubled, nor hit on the grill, like a true street taco. Although the chicken Cobb salad was generous, again, the chicken was dry and flavorless like frozen, processed chicken in a bag. The same can be said for the chicken on the chicken club sandwich. The kids pepperoni pizza was meh and the kids buttered noodles did not have any butter, nor flavor. It was as if they were taken from the pot, drained, sprayed with a little canola oil and put into a bowl. I would expect real butter, garlic, pepper and a lille parmesan to add some flavor. $7 for .25-.50¢ worth of bland noodles. Overall, the food was substandard for an $80 price tag. I did not take this out on the server, they did receive the appropriate gratitude for the overpriced,...
