Sweetest Service Ever — Thank You Abby & Twinsburg Dairy Queen Team!
I just had one of the funniest — and most heartwarming — customer service experiences ever at your Twinsburg location!
After volunteering at Hope Community Church, I stopped by Dairy Queen to treat myself and my daughter to some ice cream and milkshakes. As always, everything was delicious! But the real cherry on top came a few minutes later…
While driving home, my daughter called me and said, “Mama, you forgot your credit card at Dairy Queen.” I was shocked — how could she know that before I did?
Turns out, her amazing friend Abby, who works at your location, had already texted my daughter to let her know! In just about two minutes, I was alerted and on my way back to retrieve my card. Talk about lightning-fast service and the power of friendship!
This kind of care, awareness, and kindness is what makes your store feel like a community hub, not just a place for frozen treats. I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Abby and her mom for raising such a thoughtful and responsible young lady, and to the entire Dairy Queen team for creating a place where little acts of kindness and connection happen naturally.
We came for the ice cream… and left with full hearts (and a recovered credit card!). ❤️🍦
With gratitude, Svetlana...
Read moreI understand that each dairy Queen is a locally owned and operated franchise, but this DQ is significantly higher than others I've been to. The same meal that I buy for $14 rounded up at the stow franchise location was over $17 here. Advertised a 4pc with fries for 7.49, large drink 2.99. wanted to substitute a large cheese curd for the french fries that were included. A la carte the cheese curds are advertised is $6.99. I received zero credit for the substitution and they charged me a la carte for everything. The combo rang up as 10.99 on the receipt, the cheese curds rang up as $5.99 on the receipt, and the drink rang up as 1.09.
They don't review the order with you at the speaker or show you what anything is ringing up on a screen so there's no way to discuss it until you get to the window and get your receipt. So however they have it programmed in their system looks like they're always charging more than what they are advertising. Transparency...
Read moreWont ever go here again. First time at this location tonight. I ordered a slush ice drink. sat in line for like 30 min? There were not even many cars ahead of me. i finally get to the window and am sitting there a couple min and i see my drink right there so i wave for them to come over and just give me my drink. The lady who came to the window seemed annoyed with me and said the computer was down. She was like ‘here, take it’ and just handed me the drink (free). I thought that was nice at first until i drove around to the lot and realised it was 75% melted. Unbelievable theyd have even considered charging me for a frozen drink that melted after 30+ min. Youd think an ice cream place would know better. Even if your payment system is down and you have to give out free stuff, at least pour customers a fresh slushee after they sat in a running car for 30+...
