My mother and I went yesterday at 12;00 noon we had this condescending server named CHATONA H. Me; Are you servicing breakfast? because the hostess only gave us lunch menus.
Chatona: Of course and she took the menu out of my hand and flipped it over, slapped it on the table and said "there" are you ready to order.
Me: I want the mama breakfast, pancakes with pecans ect. with coffee, my mother said the same thing but my mother was having difficulty speaking and she said "without pecans "Chatona: "I figured that"
Mother: She is very rude
Me: Ignore her
Chatona: brought the coffee placed down
Mother; this coffee is weak taste like water
Me; I had one creamer and it taste like milk, I signaled the server
Chatona; What's the matter?
Mother; Is this fresh coffee?
Chatona: The coffee is made fresh everyday
Me: I put one creamer in my cup and it taste like milk
Chatona: It does not matter if I bring you a second cup, it all taste the same. What else do you want to drink?
Me: (now I am upset because of her tone and language toward us). I asked for a second cup.
Chatona: grab the cup handles with one hand a spilled coffee everywhere.
Mother: what is wrong with her? Is she going to get the coffee spill up?
Me: I do not know, let us wait. She brought the second cups of coffee and place it on the wet table. I said the table is wet do you have something to get it up?
Chatona: (grab a napkin of our table wipe around the coffee cups and said (Is that good enough?)
Me: I was going to ask for the manager but she walked away
Male Server: bringing the meal; how is yall day?
Me: Lousy. I want to talk with the manager.
Male Server: I am the manager
Me: I told him what happened. and asked how would you take it? I do not want her back at this table.
Male Server: Her being mad. I will talk with her and for your in convenience, I will make a fresh cup of coffee.
Mother: said thank you
Male Server: I am not charging you for the coffee and only pay for one meal.
Me: I am not asking for a discount only good customer service
Male Server: "I know but I want you to come back...

First you were out of the special that night (PORK Chops)so we had to take a min. to get something else waiter said she be right back. did not come back for about 20 min first how are you out of special when you weren't even that busy and it is peak of dinner time.ok fine next we order chicken dumplings and chicken steak with mash she tells us she has no brown gravy for potataos ok fine again. waited about an hour after second time ordering for a meal did not get food till 715, remember we got there at 530. dinner comes everything is cold i mean cold my mash potatoes were hard and clumpy my chicken steak breading was hard and chicken dumplings were cold it took us about another 10 to 15 min to wave down the waiteress to come over. she takes them instead of getting us new meals they put in microwave to warm up (YUCK)which wasnt any better. when brought out a lady brought out i believe to a manger when we told her it was still cold and now it even more hard she walked away, then came back told her it was horrible and still cold she walk away. we decided to eat some cause we were so hungry but was absoloutly disgusting we payed for the bill and left didnt even eat it told waitress to take it. and when told the cashier she simply said well we need new mangement never said sorry as well as waitress did not seem concerned just slap the bill on table and walked away nor did the manger never will return to that one or any...
Read moreI have been to this Cracker Barrel many times over the past several years and as of late, the service at this location has drastically changed for the worse! I have ordered by both phone "to go" and went in to "dine in". I have had issues with both. I have had to call several times to even get anyone to answer the phone for a to go order! I have waited almost an hour to pick up a "to go" order after having driven over 30 mins to get to this location. Being told that it would be ready in 25mins! I always check my to go order before leaving because something is always missing! My most recent "dine in" experience was today 5/20/22 3:30 pm. Not a busy time of day, there were 2 of us. When being seated, we asked hostess to be seated by a window and she told us there were no tables available by the window. But we noticed 2 empty tables by windows in the same section she seated us in?!? The waitress was "ok", didn't refill our drinks once. Food took forever to get out to us and it wasn't even busy! As a general statement, portions seem smaller than I can recall from past stops. Which is fine, I guess, but the prices haven't been adjusted to match smaller portions?!? Overall, I feel that the management at this location has to be lacking, to have experienced this many issues. While I understand due to "post Covid", it's been more difficult to find help.
