Stopped at this Burger King this afternoon to try the new limited time Ghost Chicken Nuggets. The lady on the intercom told me I could only order them through the app or with a coupon. I thought it was a little silly of a stipulation so I asked "Let me get this right, I'm going to have to go park my car, download an app, order through the app, then get back in line to get them? That sounds a little ridiculous to me." Then a man's voice responded in an upset tone telling me "Yeah because we don't have a button for it yet". Way to stick up for your female coworker, even though it wasn't necessary, I'm sure she has a perfectly functioning mouth. Whatever tough guy. From my experience in the restaurant industry if we need to add a button, the manager would simply add the button. If we ran out of something, the manager would block out the button. So either Burger King has lazy managers, or their management team isn't trusted with the administration power of adding and removing buttons. The tough guy told me the button won't be available for another week. So I guess I'll wait a week for them to get their button shipped in and properly installed, as they made it seem like quite the difficult process. I'll definitely have to go to a different location though to try and avoid this location's tough guy. And these are the people...
Read moreI entered the drive thru to place an order. After a few a female voice responded how can I help you. I asked for a bacon king burger, the sandwich alone. She said I can’t understand you. So I raised my voice and spoke slower. I only speak English and I speak very well. She laughed and said ok, “ Ok I’m not going to do this”. I asked do what? I heard her say I’m not taking his order. My entire family was in the car wife, kids and a new born baby. I parked the car and went inside and asked for the manager. A Caucasian female with a headset approached me. I asked why would you not take my order? She said I was dealing with three customers and there was a lot going on, and I’m the manager. She was wearing a black hoodie and black sport pants. I didn’t know that managers dressed like that. She then just walked away but before she did, I explained to everyone inside of that location my situation. She then asked me to leave. I told her to call the police but this wasn’t worth it so I left and went across the street to order from McDonald’s. The entire situation made no sense! I have ordered from Burger King many times and this was my first time that I was refused an order at...
Read moreThis trip to BK was disappointing. I used the app to order from home. I paid and received an email receipt. I headed to the store and when I got there they said they never got my order. I was told that my $23 order was too big for them to just give me so my only option was to leave without any food and call customer service. I did that and was told I would have to wait 2-3 days for a refund. I was hung up on the first time sonI had to call back a second time for the refund. The moral of this story is don't use the app. If, for some reason, your order doesn't make it to the store you will leave with no food and no money. I can't understand why it's up to the customer to do the leg work to get a refund when the store's app is the problem. There should be a way for the store to give the customer the food, take down the receipt information and then work on getting the money from the 3rd party that runs the app. If that's too hard then ordering through an app shouldn't be an option. If you can't do something right, don't...
