Me and my family came here after going to two other restaurants that were very busy. We all heard good things about this restaurant but we were very disappointed the moment we walked through the door. The hostesses told us that it'd be a short wait to be seated in a booth like we asked for after 30 mins of waiting and watching other groups be seated before us while feeling we were being judged by our appearance even though everyone was dressed casual we were finally seated unfortunately we waited for nothing because we were seated at a table that was very cramped ignoring this disappointment we still decided to stay and order our food hoping the service would be better. It wasn't the service just got worse. The waitress was very rude and unfriendly she seemed to not want to help us with ordering since we weren't familiar with the restaurants menu she seemed aggravated when we would ask her a question she went by the name Kayla Ca. My mother ordered some queso and was very disappointed due to the fact that it tasted just like the canned Queso from Campbell's soup that you could buy from the grocery store. My mother asked for more water and the waitress had a bad attitude and poured the water in the glass but causing it to spill all on the table she then walked away without apologizing and giving napkins to clean up the spilt water. The waitress told us that she would bring some more chips and salsa but that took her a very long time even though she was talking to other people. Our food took a very long time and my order was messed up and my beans were over cooked I told the waitress and she did fix it she didn't seem very nice about it, for the price of the food And the service we got it just wasn't worth it. By the time we got our food we were ready to leave instead of it being a nice dinner out with the family unfortunately it was ruined by the service of this restaurant. We will not be returning back. If I could I wouldn't even rate this restaurant a One star but I feel the need to leave my review. The hostess and one male waitor and one female waitress made me and my family feel that they had a very biased prejudice attitude toward us. Big disappointment. Blew $100.00 down the drain...

Service was good and i didnt raise a huge stink, but our tortillas were horrible. They were all hard around the edges and dried out...obviously they were too large for the tortilla box, and got crimped in the crack. No telling how long they had been sitting. I ripped all the hard edges off and made a big pile in the middle of the table. The waiter came by and asked how the dinner was and i pointed to the pile of hard edges, that looked like a bunch of toilet paper strips on our table. He said he would tell the manager. Nobody ever came by to apologize or nothing like that, other than our waiter. They dont care. Lol. But they did charge me and the kids another 70 bucks for lunch. Maybe ill try it again in 3 more years. Oh yea, take a look at the response to my original review....hillarious.
(Original)Dont eat here on a busy Night. Myself and 3 kids showed up at 6pm on a Friday. We beat the crowd and were seated. Halfway through the meal the server started scrounging extra glasses and said they were running out. That was ok but raised an eyebrow. But next she started trying to clear our plates and we were still eating. I nicely told her we were still munching. Then she kept coming back about every 2 minutes. It was annoying. Asked if we needed to go boxes. I got a little perturbed since we already told her we were still eating. So we began eating the rest of our meal as quick as we could. Then finally she came by complaining to us that her manager was on her about clearing plates and she was "tired". I was also tired of being hassled. Sometimes, Abuelos, when people go out to eat they want to spend time w their kids and enjoy their dinner. Not everyone is in a hurry besides you guys. Meal started great and by the end it was in a knot because I was irritated and angry. We were only there for 1 hour. Sorry it took so long to eat 80 bucks worth of mexican food.😡. Also I was going to order dessert because the cheesecake looked yummy. We weren't asked and she brought the ticket halfway thru the meal...

Original: Our waiter spilled a big icy glass of lemonade all over my six year old. He was drenched and sobbing as my husband hauled him to the bathroom. Our baby was crying too. The waiter was nowhere to be seen but 3 or 4 female staff members began to clean up the mess and apologized. They offered to get a new chair for my son. What my son really needed was a new change of clothes, which I didn't have. So I told my party that we would be leaving. I didn't want to make my son eat his food in cold wet clothes. We hadn't even had the chance to order yet. It had been a long day and we had really been looking forward to some good food. We had driven all the way from south Bullard. The rest of our party didn't want to stay at that point either. The staff members cleaning the floor and chairs just stared at us as we packed up and walked away. We found my husband and son in the bathroom and then we left. During this time no one approached us to apologize or to ask if we wanted to order some food to go. No one offered us a free meal or dessert. No one offered us some clothes for my son to wear. No one did ANYTHING. They just stared as us dumbly as we walked out. To be clear, we weren't upset, we weren't angry, we weren't yelling, we carried ourselves out of there with as much dignity as possible and didn't express our disappointment at all. But the Abuelo's staff really did disappoint us. I was appalled by the sheer lack of empathy from them. I've never seen a more apathetic group of people than I saw working in that...
