So let me state this. My wife and I love Chili's food. We have been going for years though it is my first time at this new location. At one time we had a regular waitress at old place. They sat us in the bar area though there were plenty of seats in regular area. And the wheels began to fall off. It took about 5 minutes but the bartender came and got our drink order. And then forgot them. We had to wait another 5 minutes and then when he came to get our order he remembered. Let me say the waitress who was waiting on table next to us completely ignored us. The whole time. So then we had our order in and waited, waited, 25 minutes with the bartender who was our waiter laughing it up with two guys drinking and he could see us directly. My wife gets up and asks about our food. He disappears and comes back talking about shift change and they had to make mine again because it sat back there so long. Mind you, soup and salad and a triple dipper is not too hard. Food was great. During that 25 minutes we could see the back and how everyone was just laughing and living it up. Not one person could see that an order was ready to go out? Mind you it was not busy and said waitress was helping others.
Yesterday we were at another place. One waitress, slammed but rocking the floor like a rockstar. Attentive while working on 5 tables. Today, bartender had two guys who were drinking and eating chips but they were deemed more important. The waitress yesterday got almost a 100% tip. This guy, nope.
Mind you I am patient and understand shift changes and being short handed. At one time there were two bartenders and a waitress. And no one could help us. We were not rude, our order was easy, but I guess we were not deemed good enough customers. Maybe because we had tea and water and not alcohol.
We might be back but I am so disappointed. We will be back to try again if I can convince my wife to try it again. Now other Chili's I have been to are great, this one gets an F. If we come back I will update this review if...
Read moreIf I could give this location 0 stars I would. Went for dinner and drinks with friends tonight and had the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. We were practically ignored when we walked in, no one greeted us and it took 30 minutes to seat us, even though there were plenty of clean, open tables. Our server seemed new, but she was lovely. However our food was cold when we got it and steaks were overcooked. My friends and I have all worked in the service industry before so we understand this happens and didn't send anything back. The biggest issue is our total came out to the wrong amount. We took this up with two different managers and every time we were given a new ticket the price kept getting higher when it was already too high to begin with. The general manager was extremely rude and condescending, I can't believe she's allowed to run a store with her complete lack of customer service. We had to wait almost 2 hours after we finished eating to get the issue of the ticket taken care of only for nothing to be resolved and ended up paying $20 more than the first check. On top of everything we waited at the bar while the general manager took far too long to help us and I had an older man that was clearly over served start verbally assaulting me only for that same GM to not kick him out (also corporate if you're reading this, Tyler is a small town and we all know that this location just faild a TABC sting, so why are you having belligerent guest?) I will be calling corporate in the morning and will never be back. I'd rather drive the 30 minutes to the...
Read moreMy family and I decided to eat dinner here while we were in town shopping. We were seated quickly and our server was good but after 15 mins of being there we were freezing cold. We asked our server if they could turn up the thermostat and she stated that her manager had already been notified but that she would check on it. While we waited, we noticed another table with small children had gone outside to get their jackets. By this time my 3 year old literally had chill bumps and is shivering , so we went outside to get our jackets. We asked our server again about the thermostat in which she apologized and went to get the manager who said she couldn’t do anything about it because it was located between 2 occupied tables. At this point, literally everyone sitting in our section (including the tables that the thermostat was located between) had one by one gone outside to get their jackets (about 5 tables) so it wasn’t just us. They never changed the temperature on the thermostat the whole time we were there (about an hour). And just to make our experience worse, About an hour after leaving my husband has to run to the bathroom because he suddenly has diarrhea. And about 30 mins after that I’m running to the bathroom puking my guts up. I spent the whole night uncontrollably vomiting and being nauseated, and eventually ended up in the ER with food poisoning. 2 days later and I’m still recovering from this awful experience, we will...
