A fine evening meal - 02/22/2023 Can't rave enough about Ms. Lisa, the team, and the food! o Wife ordered a waffle with two eggs and two bacon. I had to try the waffle after eating my meal, it was outstanding! We both thought it had the slightest hint of vanilla in the batter. Fluffy and delicious per the better 1/2 and me. The bacon had a great taste as well and was less fatty than you'll find at other places. Solid plate. o After flopping between breakfast and dinner, I ordered the Aztec Quesadilla Burger, 86 the four-cheese mix. Had a real beef taste to the burger. The salsa and sour cream were a nice touch. Next time, I'll have them add jalapenos for a little extra kick. Fries were crunchy and tasty. Another solid meal. o I almost drooled as someone else ordered pie a la mode, and I watched it walk past me (with the assistance of another fine staff member) but had to pass. The portions were nice and I wasn't even able to finish my plate (but made room for the two bites of the waffle). o Corporate had folks in town and I hope they are as pleased as we were. We'll be back! And next time, I won't order coffee, to change my mind as it's delivered. o Final thoughts. If you want a really tasty meal, in a relaxed setting, with great service, give this place as go. I believe you'll leave as satisfied as we did.

Omg where to start. Gentlemen greater called me sir. Dirty uncleaned tabled dishes stacked on them all over the place , Manager walked behind our seating, there no privacy between diners amongst people coming in to be seated, clearly the layout was previously a bar. The check out waitress sat in a chair at our table and fumbling with a payout kiosk of some sort, crazy I say. Filthy and disorganized beyond comprehensive. This by far is the worst place to eat, and no handicap parking and smokers by the front door as you walk out, just a mess. Cook was the only one that got things right just lay off the salt. Also it's not a heart friendly place everything is fried except a roll up and a,sandwich. I sure hope this place can turn itself around add some plants between partitions anything,. Train staff better or at all. Learn etiquette. Also don't throw all your boxes out the side door we nearly tipped over them going to our car. Again I hope this place turns around. But today wasn't it. See pictures of our visit.

Over a two week period I ate here three times: 1) The service was okay and the food was okay. I ordered Eggs Benedict and it came out with pure liquid hollandaise sauce (no cream at all) and fried eggs instead of poached (see photo). It still tastes okay but it did not taste like Eggs Benedict. 2) Service was great and food was good. It was father's day and we had to wait about 20 minutes to get seated. The host, who appears to be family of the owner, needs a lesson or two in how to take names and also stay focused on seating people. Also needs to communicate more. There were 30+ people waiting and I counted 16 empty tables. I get that they don't want to overrun the kitchen, but this is where a little communication would go along way. 3) The service was a 2 star at best. Server obviously didn't care about anything and neglected us from start to finish. Another server who wasn't even ours helped us more than he did. The food however was great on this trip.

I wanted like this place (really bad as it is close to home)….but after the experience we had tonight we will definitely never go again. We walked in their doors at 7:38 pm to be exact and got seated by a really nice guy who got our drinks. We were then greeted by a server who asked if we were ready i said “no ma’am not yet” she then explained to us how kids eat free after 2pm and what was on the kids menu. No more than 2 minutes later she asked if we were ready to order yet and I said no ma’am not quite, she said are you sure?? I shook my head no and smiled and thought wow that was a weird response she then rolled her eyes and walked away. (I have a 2.5 year old son that I am trying to get settled and situated so haven’t had the chance to fully look at menu) I looked at my husband and said do you just wanna leave? I don’t feel welcomed here and I feel rushed to hurry up and order (this is my family’s first time here). We decided we would just stay because we were already there and settled. We then placed our order, we were hoping that the food would speak for itself and make the experience better, it did not. The food was bland and just nothing to rave about to be honest. We ate, packaged up what we didn’t eat and began to leave. As we were walking out the door the server said “next time you come try to come before 8pm” I said “oh do yall close at 8 because on Google it said 10” she began to say “yeah it says 10pm but the owner would like us to be closed by 8.” I said “oh well that’s not how to get business in here!” Server said “I know but that’s just what he likes”. We proceeded out the door. My family and I will never be again and I’ll make sure to tell anyone I know that brings this place up to never...

We went there for dinner tonight, we’re seated quickly but it took a minute for our drink order to be taken, then when the drinks were brought out, he sat them down and walked away even tho we wanted an appetizer, about 15 minutes of looking around for him, he finally came back and asked if we were ready to order, I said we want an appetizer, keep in mind another couple had come in we’re seated and had drinks and meals already being cooked from the same waiter, he dropped our drinks and walked away, after we order our app another 10 or 15 minutes passed before we saw him again with our appetizer, we had been prepared to order 5 minutes before, drinks were empty did not get them refilled until our dinner came which was 30 minutes after we ordered it, by that time a 4 top had come in and food came out fast for them, the food was not great, our pancakes were burnt, our waited had told my husband he could sub sausage for his hash browns because he doesn’t eat them, we got charged for them, when asked about it he said sorry about that, the hash browns I had were mushy and not good at all, eggs did not taste good, and when we were ready to pay, plates picked up and everything, we decided it seemed the only way we were going to get to pay was to go to the front counter but had seen our waiter laughing and sitting with other wait staff rather than checking on us to get our bill, also don’t like that fact that you have to do the tip right infront of them if you pay at the front, seemed at first it might be a good place to try but not having time to look over our bill or even decided if we wanted to leave a tip, broke the ice for me, we will not be back, he didn’t even give me a receipt. Soooo...

It was easily over 80° in the building. We were there for over an hour and it never cooled off. The appetizer took a little while to come out, but it was delicious. If you do ever go here (against my recommendation) you should definitely try the pickle fries, they were actually fantastic. We waited half an hour since we received our advertiser, and never got our food. We tried to ask our waitress for an update on our food, but she quite literally ignored us and walked away. We decided to leave right after that, paid for what we ate and left. The Wingstop across the street is very good by the way.

Some things we witnessed while we were there:

  1. we were delivered the incorrect order, which actually belonged to the table in front of us. When the table in front of us was delivered their order, they had to send it back to the kitchen because it looked abysmal. I'm just not sure how you mess up a bacon cheeseburger that badly.

  2. at one point, the woman two tables in front of us started walking around the juice bar to try to find a pitcher to fill up her drink. We had trouble getting our drinks refilled as well.

  3. The table behind us was there long before us, and they didn't have their food either. We ended up seeing them at the Wingstop we went to after we left. They said they waited for over an hour and didn't get their food. They saw us leave and decided to do the same.

  4. last time we ate at country kitchen, we also experienced a lack of AC in the building, and another person had to send food back to the kitchen for being burned. I've never seen black hash...
