I ordered a pumpkin spice latte. Two thirds of the way through , it was stone cold. I approached the counter and asked if they could re-heat it and add a shot of espresso as it was a little too sweet for me. The young lady at the register informed me there was not a microwave and she would need to make a new drink with the espresso added. I asked for two shots only of the pumpkin syrup and not the usual five. I specifically asked if I would be charged for a new drink. The girl stated no, only for the espresso shot. As I was getting my money out of my wallet, a guy suddenly said, um no, you will be charged for the new drink plus the espresso. And then he proceeded to reprimand the girl in front of me. At this point I was extremely frustrated and told the man that. I also stated it was terrible customer service. He looked at me and walked away. Nothing further was said by him. I received my drink extra hot which was nice. However, there was no additional espresso added although I did pay for it. I elected not to ask for the espresso as I had already been dismissed and received such horrible service. I drove over 1 1/2 hrs in traffic for a dr appointment here that got rescheduled at the last minute. As.i was tired, i thought I would treat myself to a little pick me up from Starbucks. Initially, the young lady who girst helped me was very sweet and professional. (Even added a cute msg on my bag.) However, I will not come back to this location. Nor will I recommend it to anyone. I've had a very successful career in multi-family property management. Had i treated employees or perspective residents the way I was treated here this morning, I would have been disciplined heavily. Then adding insult to injury, when I asked the guy's name, I was asked, " why? Why do you need to know his name?" I have spoke up before and got attitude even from the manager. Not sure if he is still there, because that was a few months ago, regardless they are still getting my order wrong. My order is simply if they just read the slip they put on the cup. Iām just so fed up with this location in Tyler. I will drive across town from now on even down Broadway if I have to just to avoid this location. She actually put extra ice that the cup was full of ice from top to bottom. When I said I was going to report this she quit arguing with us. Then displayed a tiny little sweetheart voice, while being selfish as if she were the one paying for the shaken espresso and displaying a high profile of narcissism, as if she were the victim when she is the one not providing the customers what we are paying for. We are paying for an 8 dollar šµ coffee for her to want to feed us ice. I can easily have ice at home. Then the female in the drive-thru said she can remake the drink, but she did not remake the drink. She only scooped out ice from the drink and brought it out almost half empty.
I come to Starbucks 5 to 7 times a week and by far this has been the worst service I have ever received at a Starbucks location. I am never coming back to this...
