Terra's Ice Cream, Coffee, & Sweets — Restaurant in Tysons

I hesitated to review because omg what if this place gets discovered by the DC crowd and it won't be a wonderful hidden gem that I can walk to with my kids?! But it's 2025 and we don't gatekeep plus I'm hoping the terrible traffic keeps everyone on the other side of the Potomac away (jk...)

Wonderful ice cream, actually tastes like the flavor written. Pistachio is my favorite and my toddler loves strawberry and our ice cream has actual pieces of pistachio and strawberry in there. No artificial dies, no excess sugar. The waffle cones are gluten-free which must be great for the celiac sufferers (but I am not one so can't speak to this aspect of the experience). But it tastes good so that's what I care about. Recently tried the matcha flavor and it was also excellent.

Milkshakes are the best. Haven't tried too much of the coffee menu or the cookies but the cookies look amazing, no dyes, etc.

Also the staff is incredibly kind. Not in a cloying way but they do little things that show they actually pay attention to the people coming in, like bringing out drinks to parents with children in strollers. (Can you tell I'm biased?)

TLDR; I go here at least once a week and am very upset when they're sold out of the pints of strawberry ice cream which I keep in reserve to bribe...

We drove an hour just to visit Terra's Ice Cream shop, and let me tell you, we were absolutely not disappointed! From the moment we stepped inside, the experience was wonderful. We were instantly greeted with a huge smile by Nina, who was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful as we navigated all the delicious options.

What truly sets Terra's apart is their commitment to quality and inclusion. Finding delicious, quality, gluten-free waffle cones is a game-changer! But the cones are just the beginning.

We went all out and tried Strawberry, Chocolate, Mint Chip, Tahitian Vanilla, Pistachio, and the truly delightful Yum Yum Delight. Every single flavor was a winner. We loved knowing that they use no dyes and focus solely on the best ingredients.

We even got to sample the seasonal Pumpkin Pie flavor, and wow! We will definitely be back to grab a full scoop of that.

This small business is an absolute must-go, especially for anyone who is celiac or gluten intolerant and still searching for delicious treats made with integrity.

I recently visited Terra's Ice Cream, Coffee, & Sweets and had an absolutely delightful experience! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the heavenly aroma of freshly baked waffle cones. The selection of flavors was impressive, ranging from classic vanilla to unique options like Butter pecan to coffee.

I decided to try the salted caramel and pistachio combo, and I was blown away. The salted caramel was rich and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness, while the pistachio had a delightful nutty flavor that was both refreshing and indulgent.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing me to sample a few flavors before making my decision. The ambiance of the shop was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a scoop or two.
