We are just driving through Ukiah on our way up to Wa and stopped in for a quick lunch. Wow! Best hot Italian sub I’ve ever had! Makes we wish we could stick around for dinner. Husband and son both had the meatball sub and they are in heaven!! Great friendly service too. Can’t beat that! This place is awesome! 🤩

Stopped here on our way to the Redwoods during a road trip and i’m assuming it’s the couple who owns the place but they were such kind people. very good pepperoni slices and homemade pasta salad. will definitely be back!

I have been a longtime Marino's customer. I couldn't count the pizzas I have ordered from them, amongst other items.

A few months ago... I tried to order a pizza for pickup, over the phone. The person answering the phone was so snotty and had so much attitude, I hung up on her. We continued to go to Marino's but I didn't call them much afterwards, until today.

Today, an hour ago or so, I called and ordered a large chicken Caesar salad, and a medium double pepperoni pizza with white onion. Forty minutes later, I showed up to get the order. I paid $30.36 + tip. I had to serve myself with the Caesar. I then stood, waiting for the pizza.

As I stood waiting, I noted that there was a customer that had to be told that their order would take yet another 8 minutes. I guess it was made incorrectly. My server came out to inform me that my pizza was made with olives, not onions. The guy stood there looking at me, as if to see if I wanted to take it anyway, which I did not. I told him that I did not want the pizza. I took out my card to get a credit, but he walked away.

I stood, waiting. I then went to the register... and tried to get the attention of one of the MANY employees that were meandering around. I failed miserably. The lady working the register went to serve 3 others. After quite a long time, I was now pissed off.

The lady at the register, who had been ignoring me, was now on the telephone. She asked if I had been helped. CLEARLY.... SINCE I HAVE BEEN STANDING IN FRONT OF HER FOR QUITE SOME TIME WITH MY CREDIT CARD IN HAND, I HAVEN'T BEEN HELPED. DUH.

Since she had a phone in her ear, and since she had successfully ignored me to s4rve 3 others, I decided that getting my credit was too frigging hard. I told them to keep the frigging money, salad, and incorrect pizza.

I left. I got dinner elsewhere. I did place a call to Marino's. The person answered and addressed me by name (callerid). I told him that we are past discussion at this point, that I wanted THE OWNER. I repeated this many times, since the person did not get it the first 3 times through. I was told I would get a call. I did not get a call.

Marino's has LOST MY BUSINESS. Permanently. I will never go back. Did I say never? I meant NEVER. NEVER. Never ever. Period. I don't patronize businesses that rip off their customers... and who are so incompetent that they cannot get an order straight, or numerous orders straight, with an empty restaurant.

If Marino's intends to stay in business, I would recommend that they learn to respect their customers... at least minimally. My treatment was anything...

I ordered food from Marino’s via DoorDash. I don’t want to disparage DoorDash drivers because I was a delivery driver when I was younger and it’s an often difficult and thankless job. However, the DoorDash driver who delivered my food from Marino’s seems like they made a mistake and then tried to blame it on the restaurant. They only gave me the salad and not the fettuccine alfredo special I’d ordered, and claimed Marino’s hadn’t given them my whole order. They also said that DoorDash drivers don’t like delivering from Marino’s because it’s always a problem.

Luckily I’d stopped the driver in time after realizing my order was wrong (which is when they complained about Marino’s) and they agreed to go get the right order and bring it back. I called Marino’s right away and was like, what the heck, I’m hungry and my order was messed up. I was told that the manager himself handed the whole order over to that driver himself so they had no idea why I was told otherwise, but that they would fire off another fettuccine special for me and if the DoorDash driver didn’t return with my food, he would send one of their employees to deliver it.

Shortly thereafter (not enough time for the driver to have gone back to Marino’s and returned), the driver came back and gave me my whole order. I then called Marino’s to let them know not to send anyone and to thank them for being so kind when I called them all hangry earlier. The same manager told me that my driver hadn’t returned (which I already suspected because of time and distance) and so it appears the driver had either been confused or had lied. Marino’s delivers directly so I’d recommend ordering from them and not through DoorDash, as that’s what I plan to do.

The fettuccine alfredo special was very good, as were the garlic bread and salad. I’d order from them again when I’m craving Italian...

I was extremely disappointed. The cashier who took our order continuously repeated that she was new and barely working part time, and required assistance inputting each part of our relatively simple order: Chicken fettuccine Alfredo Spinach and ricotta stuffed shells 1/2 marinara 1/2 Alfredo Garlic bread (which costs extra) with both meals. 25 minutes later we received our plates, sans utensils. When I asked for silverware I was given two forks from a dishwasher rack that was sitting on the counter. My boyfriend, who was dining on his first real meal after wisdom teeth surgery said his fettuccine was “fine.” My meal consisted of three obviously pre-frozen stuffed shells, and only came with marinara sauce not 1/2&1/2 which cost extra and took five minutes and two additional employees to order. The shells were not “al dente” nor even warm. They were cold, hard husks of pasta dough with what I can only describe as cold “seasoned ketchup” on top with a dirt speckled parsley garnish. I saw a review claiming that the reviewer enjoyed an extravagant salad bar but all I saw was what appeared to one be a buffet table but was now being used as a storage shelf in the dining area. Also, this is not a place to bring the family either. I do not discriminate against homeless people, however during our short walk to the car following our microwave dinner I was approached by a man who was very disappointed to learn that I “have not seen crystal.” Go to Safeway, boil some pasta and throw a can of sauce on top for half the price of one meal the next time you get a...
