Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Ukiah

I don't typically write bad reviews but I feel that this one is warranted. I had ordered pizza from mountain Mike's through their app and chose the walk-in option. Upon arriving at the restaurant the lady at the front informed me that my pizza had been burnt and that they were in the process of making another one, I said okay no problem do you know how long it'll take and she looks at me and says I don't know 10 minutes. I say okay and I sit down at the table no sooner do I sit down then another employee comes over to the table I'm sitting at and sits down next to me and says oh you're the guy whose Pizza we burnt. I say yes most likely that he proceeds to tell me the reason my pizza was burnt, apparently this young man was quitting in two weeks and was drawing of meme on his resignation letter which was distracting his other employees which caused them to burn my pizza now I'm not one typically to make a big deal out of something like this but I felt that this had to be addressed the service there was incredibly unprofessional the employees seemed to have no drive and no desire to act in a professional manner and when I took the pizza home and tried it it was still undercooked so I would not recommend eating at mountain Mike's Pizza I would choose...

Crazy how a bunch of teenagers ran this place better than the horrible staff they have now who can't even speak English properly and always have their headphones in, it is pretty sketchy how the staff was completely changed in under a month the old staff was great always saw them work their heart out during busy days, these teenagers put more effort into their jobs than most people would in their careers the place was always spotless the pizza was amazing the service was not fast but the wait was worth it now the place is just a shadow of what it once was I gave the place a visit recently and no cars in the parking lot, restaurant empty, full of dust , cockroaches, rat poop, I even saw slugs the pizza is horrible staff is creepy no smiles just straight faces rude attitude. I was curious on why the staff changed so I asked around and heard that the owner was jealous that this little store in a random town like ukiah was outperforming their "best" location in Santa Rosa I also heard that the owners got rid of them to hire people to do the same amount of work with less pay but at the end of the day these are just rumors and not confirmed whatever happened didn't end...

Pass this place often & think "I need to give them a try" as my only other experience w/Mtn Mike's was on vacation in the Mtns years ago & it was great. So today I ordered online & was amazed at the interior upon stepping inside. Raj, the owner is a newcomer, 6 mos here from Vacaville. He remodeled the the interior & the place is tastefully decorated & spotless. So clean & comfortable. They have a full bar, impressive salad bar, several large screen TVs & a huge game area for the kids. Air hockey, etc... Kinda wished I was dining in for the full experience but I'll return with friends & talk it up. The place, people & pizza were GREAT! Pleasantly surprised given So State & Talmadge appears a little less than desirable but he's done a great job transforming the energy inside. Give it a...
