Lin's Kitchen — Restaurant in Union City

Hi, I wanted to share feedback about a very disappointing visit last night. We came in excited to order the mango dessert ice cream, but after placing a different item, we were told the mango one was sold out — only to see another table who came in after us receive that same dessert.

The staff couldn’t cancel our first order and blamed the system, which didn’t seem honest. While the manager did apologize and offer a free drink, the situation felt very poorly handled. We left extremely frustrated. I hope your team can work on clearer communication and honesty...

I don't review often but this one literally left a bad taste in my mouth. I got the general Tso's Chicken, my wife got the Lo Mein, and our friends got the Chow Mein and Chicken and Broccoli. We all noticed what seemed like a faint smell of cleaning products. Don't know if it was the bag, containers or food but my wife and I were sick later that night after only trying a few bites. When I was at graduate school two years ago, having lunch at this restaurant was one of my daily routine. Very friendly service and I started to became friends with this respectful and hard working family.
