I went into Suju friday night around 8 pm excited to visit the new shop that opened up given I spend a lot of time at the Fremont location and one of the first things I hear as I’m looking over the bakery items is a female employee explaining in great detail how she through up the previous night. Gross but okay.
The primary concern I had was related to the noise level within the café. There were only a handful of customers in the cafe at this time and unfortunately, on this occasion, the noise from the employees behind the counter was quite disruptive. It made it challenging to enjoy my coffee and work on my tasks. On top of that, because of how enveloped they were in their own conversation, they forgot about my order, and it wasn’t until maybe 12-15 mins after when I got up and asked did they start making it. I understand that employees may engage in conversation and work-related activities but I don’t think the rest of the cafe is interested in the party you’re planning and who you should or shouldn't invite or your boy problems and how their girlfriends mean mug you...
Read moreJust your average coffee shop but with a very classroom like atmosphere. I had a caramel macchiato which was above average. I also had the carrot cake and stole some of my wife’s cream cheese chocolate muffin. Both were what you would e or t from an okay coffee shop bakery. We won’t be goi b out of our way for their baked goods. Though they have double the selection of a Starbucks bakery. Atmosphere was disappointing. Wood chairs and desks as far as the eye can see. They have a large seating area and even outdoor seating. But it is all wooden chairs and tables. Very bland, very mundane very dull. Service was what you’d expect, at least at Starbucks it feels like the baristas are high on the caffeine. Here it felt like they needed a strong coffee. Then again maybe it was because it was a hit Sunday afternoon. There were about 15 people there and it still felt empty. Nearly all of them had there laptops out and it felt...
Read moreAwful place! I found this place on Apple Maps by searching for "coffee shop." I don't think the owner of this cafe has the slightest idea what coffee is. The barista, if you can call that person a barista, put milk in the cappuccino machine and left to make other orders. Not only was this milk unbearably hot, but it also didn't even froth. A gas station coffee machine makes better coffee than this cafe. In short, if you want a cup of good coffee, you definitely need to look somewhere else. I also saw they had many desserts, but I didn't try them. I hope their desserts are much better than their coffee. I give this place one star for the...
