DONT WATCH THE BENGALS GAME HERE!! Nearly everyone in the establishment for Monday night football is wearing their Bengals gear, obviously here to watch the game. We frequent here, and would consider ourselves regulars over the past few months. That has quickly changed as we were very disappointed when the Bengals game was about to start and there was a lady here doing trivia. We missed the sound to the game intro because apparently the trivia host playing the song "I'm going to move to the country and eat a lot of peaches" is more important than the football game at a "SPORTS BAR". We kindly expressed our concerns to the manager and he was clearly unmoved by our requests/frustration. The trivia host finally handed the sound over to the house at 8:10PM and the sound came on, but still was very quiet. I politely asked one of the managers if they could turn the sound up, which they did, but it's still not loud at all and I know for a fact anyone without perfect hearing is having a hard time listening to the game.
We are very disappointed because Jimmy Bs is a convenient location for us and we come here twice a week. Unfortunately due to their poor management and lack of organization and customer attentiveness, we probably won't be coming back.
It's no wonder there was hardly any customers in here tonight for Monday night football. Apparently they caught the memo already.
Jimmy B's- we love you, but you need new management.
I would also like to add that I dropped in here for lunch and a beer last Friday, I sat at the bar and ordered chili and a budlight. The food was fine, and the bartender was friendly, but my intention was for a quick bite and a beer and to be on my way. I ended up being here for an hour because the bartender wouldn't even look at me and was too busy chatting with her co-workers and changing trash bags- I had to flag her down twice- once to ask her for the check, and the second time to ask her to take the check so I could get out of there. Any bartender working Friday during lunch time (or any server in general) should know that people coming during lunch time most likely are trying to get in-and-out and quick service is expected (compared to dinner time). I finally got the Bartender's attention and she was not apologetic or concerned with my desire to leave. To be honest I almost wanted to just walk out without paying and leaving a note that they should do better at their job and this wouldn't happen if they paid more attention to their customers, especially when they're not even busy.
To the owners- Overall I would like to see Jimmy Bs step up their game and train their employees better, and with the awesome location and nice patio, this place could really earn a lot more customers... but until then, the future is not...
Read more????? Food quality ★★★★☆ Service ★★★★☆ Ambiance ????? Value ????? Menu selection ★★★★☆ Location/Accessibility ★★★☆☆ Overall experience I had the chance to check out Jimmy B's Bar with my former colleague FF back in September. We planned to meet another coworker EH to watch a football game together. Personally, I know nothing when it comes to football but this was a very unique experience to me so I agreed to go. When we arrived at 6 PM on a Saturday, the parking lot was already full, and it was difficult to find a spot. Upon entering the bar, the noise level was high, and it was packed with customers. The bar had numerous TV screens and a variety of seating options. Unfortunately, all tables and high chairs were already occupied, leaving us standing in a long line to order our drinks. We ordered pints of draft beer and quickly realized that the bar was too noisy inside to have a conversation. So, we decided to move outside to sit by a bonfire where we could still watch the game. Although it was a hot day, the temperature had dropped by evening, and it was chilly outside. Fortunately, there were fewer people outside than inside, making it easier to relax. We chatted about different topics, avoiding the topic of sports, until a young man approached us. The young man seemed to want to make small talk, but he only talked about sports, which I'm not interested in. But things took an unexpected turn when the young man started spewing his hateful opinions. He argued that we shouldn't be at the bar if we weren't fans of sports. The situation made us feel intimidated and uncomfortable, but thankfully, the young man's friend stepped in and diffused the situation before it escalated any further. I must admit, I was ready for a physical altercation, as my hand was already in my pocket where I kept my trusty knife. Of course, I had no intention of using the blade; the handle alone would make a fine enough blunt to smash the little shigella's face. I gave FF my untouched drink and decided to leave after EH didn't show up, but only sent us an apology text. FF expressed his displeasure towards EH, who he claimed invited him out of courtesy, but didn't expect him to accept. Although I didn't try the food or check out the menu, I'm giving Jimmy B's Bar three stars due to the unpleasant incident. I will not be returning to the bar due to the hostile behavior of some of its patrons, especially since I'm not...
Read moreI was just at Jimmy B’s tonight, spent over 2 hours at this establishment, spent quite a bit of money as well and had fun with my party that was there. We were leaving and waiting on one straggling behind and a patron that was walking in was very VERY rude and hostile and told my partner to “FUK MAN, GET THE FUK OUT OF THE WAY!” When there are two doors for entry that he could of easily walked through... staff and management agreed with us and said that yes it was rude and that the patron was intoxicated prior to entering.. so we called to speak to a manager and Betty who was on tonight was very very rude to my partner and took back what she said originally and said my partner was “intoxicated and in the way” when this occurred, did not provide her managers information, nor was trying to resolve the conflict, she then handed the phone to and off duty officer who was NOT there when this occurred, to only say he was again “intoxicated and in the way” to justify what happened. We are speaking to the officers lieutenant in the morning and reporting him for being discriminating and accusing without any evidence. The bartenders should of refused this man for the safety of him and the rest of the patrons in the bar... by the way was very dirty. Never again will we step in to this place and I hope that no one else does because it’s gross, discriminating and not a good safe, environment. Bouncers are disrespectful, managers are disrespectful and the patrons are...
