DECEPTION?-You be the judge: Saw a Ninja Swirl ice cream maker display that had a price tag of $199.99 so loaded it in my cart. It rang up around $347 at the counter. The cashier came back to see the display, along with the price tags so said she needed to involve a higher up since there was a $100+ discrepancy. The higher up kept saying 'No, you can't have it at that price' and came back to see that the display did have the $199.99 price tag right on it. I said, "That is confusing & a bit deceptive don't you think?" She said, 'No. Have a nice day.' I left the store to get my camera just to take a picture. When I returned, she had already taken down the price tag that she said was not deceptive and was carrying it in her hand. The whole experience felt a bit deceptive to me. Bought the product over at Walmart and won't be back to this Target for a long while. If she had simply acknowledged the mistake, I wouldn't have a problem. But to say there was no problem and then wait until I left the store to take down the price...that felt DECEPTIVE! I did appreciate the store cashier, but the higher up maybe should take a course in customer service. Anyway, Walmart had one and I'm enjoying ice cream right now. Best wishes and honesty is always the...
Read moreI collect toys with my son and a lot of times we go in there and the shelves will either be low or empty on the items we like and every employee will either refuse to scan the items or refuse to check the backroom. I don't understand why such a simple request from a customer would prompt immediate disrespect from an employee when I'm always polite and my child is well behaved. There's no logical explanation to refuse customer service over such a simple request. They're literally refusing a sale just to not help me and my child. Sometimes we've asked the employees who have boxes of new freight on their carts to open them for us and they refuse that too. Why would they refuse a sale when we are right there and asking politely? It doesn't make any business sense to refuse reasonable requests from customers and refuse sales. Just because we collect toys doesnt me we don't buy our clothes, furniture, and electronics there too. We love Target, but not...
Read moreGiving one star because Google will not let me give zero. I came to Target intending to buy a specific crib for my new baby. We were told in the store that the stock represented online was not necessarily an accurate representation of what was in store. We showed the stock person the crib we wanted, and he brought us a crib from the back. It was not the right one. We waited until he brought us the model crib we wanted, and when my husband opened the box to assemble it the next day, it was not the color we asked for. We had to borrow a friend's SUV in order to get this crib home, and the friend had to take their child's car seat out of their SUV in order for us to borrow it. Now we will have to find someone to lend us a vehicle again because Target will not pick up this item or ship it, despite their mistakes. I am not pleased. My husband already dislikes shopping at Target, and this does not contribute to us being...
