I am pissed!!!!! I frequent this Qdoba a lot! Probably more than the average person should, but we eat Qdoba multiple times a week consistently because we enjoy it and the staff is nice. Tonight 3/30, I decided to order 2 bowls and an iced tea through Grub Hub. Mine was an adobo chicken bowl, with white rice, chile crema, sour cream and guacamole. That's it. It arrived fast and was sealed shut with staples as usual so I know this wasn't tampered by the delivery driver. Upon opening my bowl, I took 1 fork full from the middle and immediately spit it out! It tasted as if someone decided to open a salt container and pour it all over the chicken, then cover it with the sour cream and guacamole. I don't know if this is a pissed off employee about to quit or what the hell that was. I have never experienced such disgust!! I had to rinse my mouth under the faucet to get the amount of salt out and still have it lingering as if I gargled with salt water!! This is absolutely repulsive!!
After that I tasted a piece of chicken from the edge of the bowl to see if maybe whoever cooked the chicken over seasoned but no, the chicken tasted normal. I tried another piece from the opposite side against the wall of the bowl and it also tasted normal. I tasted a little of the guacamole, and a little of the sour cream and both were not salty. I ended up slowly removing the guac and sour cream from the top to expose the chicken. I took 1 piece from there and again it was horrendous drenched in SALT!!! I spit it out immediately. Someone in this location prepping this food this evening when I placed my order at 6:47pm did this on purpose! What the hell is going on with this location?!? Everyone is typically great here but this was beyond disgusting. I am beyond pissed and going to request a complete refund from Grubhub since I don't know what you've done to both bowls. I also will be coming in person because I am pissed considering the amount of frequency and money we spend in Qdoba on a weekly basis. This is unacceptable. If someone wants to be spiteful, then quit. Go work elsewhere. Don't play with people's food. That is the worst thing you can do and an excellent way to destroy a business. You will see my face this week...
Read moreI’m a vegetarian and qdoba has been my favorite to go place since last 5 years from the time I’ve moved to the US.
I think it was my last order here today as I’ve had poor experiences three times in a row.
Let me cover the last two recent order mess ups -
I ordered a veggie bowl from DoorDash 1.5 months ago and requested a taco shell on the side on call. I received my order without any taco shell and 3-4 toppings were missing too. Instead they added pickled onions for which I never asked. The quantity was also less. Overall the taste, quantity and items were not at all as expected. I called them to complain and a nice gentleman at the store promised a free meal on my next order.
Today I placed an order again through DoorDash and called the store to give that free meal. It was denied by the store manager saying that they can not compensate me with a free meal but she will make sure that todays order is upto the mark. I ordered two veggie bowls and requested for taco shells on the side and she sent that as I adored for. But to my surprise, the quantity in each bowl was just 40% the size of the container (pics attached). More than half of the bowl was empty and rice and beans were almost negligible. The taste was no doubt good overall but it felt that they’ve intentionally reduced the quantity so much. I could literally dip my first finger in the bowl without being able to touch the food 🤷🏻♀️
It was so disappointing that I didn’t even call the store to complain because they were never prompt/willing to handle any issues before, so I’ve decided it’s better not to order from them again 🙄
Bye Bye Qdoba. You’ve lost a genuine customer who actually...
Read moreI've been to this location many times over the years and have seen the staff go from cheerful, to indifferent, to now resentful of clients. I can tolerate indifference (as along as the food is good); but resent at my request to add additional toppings is absurd. It is not like lettuce or sour cream are outlandish toppings to request on your bowl. I had not requested extra, I received an attitude for requesting it at all as I was being rushed out the door trying to finish my order.
I also noted employees adding unwrapped silverware to bags with no gloves after handling currency & touching the POS system - an obvious NO-NO during the times of COVID-19.
While awaiting my orders completion, I overheard staff joking about how backed up they were on Uber Eats/Doordash orders as they clearly put no hustle into their movement and simply let the orders pile up. One driver noted he had been waiting for his order about 20 minutes then and was told it would be another 10-15 minutes at least. I feel bad for anyone awaiting their order from this location.
As if that was not enough, the food was also sub-par. The rice was clearly two batches that were very different, 75% of the bowls rice being kind of dry and the other 25% being more normal. The chicken also had quite a few pieces that were burned to a char and ruined part of the dish. And worst of all, how could the chips not even be good? I guess they forgot to salt them - they were warm, but...
