Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Union

Let me start by saying how I frequently come here because it is the closest Chick Fil A to my house. Today I went and sat for 1 hour waiting on my food. I placed a mobile order twice that said it was an issue and I needed to call. I call while I went to the drive thru just in case the order did not go through. I spoke to a manager who told me my order went through. I let the person at the drive thru who take the orders know that I made a mobile order and my name. I waited in that long line just to get to the drive thru window and be told that my order was not paid even though I showed them on my banking app that it did indeed go through. I was told that the order will be canceled and I need to pay again, which I did then was told that I need to park in the handicap spot with my hazards on to wait for my food to be made because no one told them about my mobile order, although I spoke to a manager and someone at the drive thru. I have been sitting here for 20 minutes before I called and spoke to the manager. Not only was my order lost, no one made sure that I received it. I’ve sat here for over a hour waiting for my food and all the manager could say was we will get u, ur food. If it wasn’t due to me having a infant in my car I would I went in there and gave them a piece of my mind. This place is highly u professional for that and I’m truly disappointed. I should have known that this was going to be an unpleasant experience when the young woman taking my order opened with “just a heads up, there’s a one sauce max per order.” ...That’s a B.S. policy! I need two sauces in order to fully enjoy my meal! 🤭After waiting 55 minutes in line for chicken tenders and fries, my order was disgusting; the food was COLD and I was starving - ready to eat! I distinctively asked for hot fries because the last time I was here the fries were cold. This is the third time that this location has underdelivered (not to mention the time they tried to serve me some foreign meat disguised as chicken! I’m still waiting for lab results... 😡) Being the committed patron that I am, I gave them another chance. At this point, they’ve hit three strikes, therefore, I thought it was necessary to leave this long and disappointing review. My goal is to get the attention of someone who has the power to improve management at this location and to warn my fellow Chick-Fil-A folks to just keep driving and find another location or restaurant altogether! It’s not worth the time, money, or frustration - unless you like cold fries. 🤷 I normally don’t leave one star reviews, but you guys at the Union, NJ location...

If you aren’t religious about fast food then you haven’t eaten at Chic-fil-A in a while. Situated conveniently on Route 22’s center island, this restaurant is a beacon of hope on a road littered with mediocrity. When was the last time you could you count on a fast food restaurant to give you the feels? Say no more fam, it’s right here. Here is where they succeed; service, food, and more service. Front to back and in-between, a Chic-fil-A is a master class on courtesy, prompt delivery, and authenticity. Not only authentic flavors, but more importantly, authentic service. Drawbacks? Only being full at all times. As to be expected, but never fear, the line moves quickly and there is always an open table. It’s so welcoming I have found myself on more than one occasion chatting up a fellow chicken gobbling neighbor. When’s the last time you can say you had a pleasant conversation with a random stranger in a fast food restaurant? That’s what I thought... They’ve got the magic formula here on Route 22, I wonder if every Chic fil-A is the same outstanding 5...
