Manny's Pizza — Restaurant in Union

I'VE BEEN ORDERING HERE FOR A COUPLE MONTHS NOW BEING THAT I AM NEWLY EMPLOYED IN THE AREA. THE FOOD QUALITY SEEMED JUST OK AT BEST BUT WITH LIMITED FOOD OPTIONS IN THE AREA I CONTINUED TO ORDER. ONE AFTERNOON THEY GAVE ME DRESSING THAT LOOKED A BIT WEIRD AND UNAPPETIZING, I CALLED TO NOTIFY THEM BECAUSE WHAT'S THE POINT OF SALAD WITHOUT DRESSING OF SOME KIND. I GOT THE RUDEST AND NASTIEST RESPONSE FROM ONE OF THE YOUNG MEN THAT WORK THERE TO THE POINT WHERE HE REALIZED HOW RUDE HE WAS AND CALLED BACK TO APOLOGIZE. I UNDERSTAND APOLOGIZING CAN BE HARD SO I TOLD HIM I APPRECIATE THE CALL. HOWEVER I JUST ORDERED THIS WEEK AND IT WILL BE THE LAST TIME I EVER SPEND MONEY THERE AND THIS IS WHY:

IF I ORDER EVERYDAY AND ON AVERAGE SPEND ABOUT 60 BUCKS A WEEK THERE ON LUNCH ( THEY'RE OVERPRICED FOR QUALITY OF FOOD. IT'S ALL PER PACKAGED AND NOT FRESH) AND THAT BEING A LOT OF MONEY ON JUST LUNCH I'D HOPED THE LITTLE BABY TOSSED SALAD THEY SENT WOULD AT LEAST BE FRESH....WRONG. SPRING MIX WAS TOTALLY ROTTEN, CUCUMBERS TOTALLY ROTTEN AND TOMATO WAS COMPLETELY COVERED IN SOME KIND OF SLIMY MOLD.

IF YOU CAN'T AT LEAST DATE THE SALAD FOR FRESHNESS OR LOOK THEM OVER BEFORE SENDING THEM OUT THEM WHY AM I GIVING YOU 60 BUCKS A WEEK TO JUST BE HANGRY AND YES I SAID HANGRY BECAUSE I'M ALWAYS LET DOWN BY THIS FOOD AND I TRY SOMETHING NEW TO NO AVAIL THUS LEAVING ME ANGRY AND HUNGRY HENCE THE WORD HANGRY. I WILL NOT SPEND ANYMORE MONEY THERE OR WASTE MY TIME CALLING TO COMPLAIN BECAUSE IN THERE EYES THE CUSTOMER IS NEVER RIGHT!!!

My coworkers and I were in town for work and its always expected for me to find a local pizza place wherever we go because I am the pizza lover of the group. When I tell you it does not matter where we go, I WILL find the good pizza. With that being said, Manny’s pizza was recommended to us and the selling piece was that we were told they make their sauce from scratch daily and I just HAD to try for myself!. We hopped in the car and headed over to Manny’s pizza and unbeknownst to us, we were in for a treat!!! We walked in about 10 minutes after they opened for business and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with attentive yet smiling faces. We were instructed to scan the menu on our phones and as we did that, who I am assuming was Manny, stood by and awaited any questions we may have had. Their menu was overwhelming with options that all sounded great but my heart was set on the pizza. I tried a slice of pepperoni pizza and a slice of their famous grandma pie. Both were absolutely delicious! This restaurant is a gem and appeared to be ran by a close knit family…everyone there had a role and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and like part of the family…to even include taking the initiative to place a couple of my coworkers pizza back on top of the oven to avoid their food getting cold while they were on an important business call.
