We last went for lunch. A lot has changed for this staple but at the same time not so much. Still a lot of construction in the area, as locals are trying to fit oddly shaped homes on antiquated lots.
We couldn't always understand the man at the window but he was eager to help.
Burger is good. Just good. I prefer a thicker patty and onions are chopped(Whataburger style) so they don't carmelize quite the same as ringed onions when grilled. More old fashioned diner burger.
Fries and tots are really good. I like the season on the fries. It makes them different and they can be eaten without ketchup if you want. Not greasy at all.
I think the price leans on location and history of the name. In this crowded market, I don't know if I wouldn't just make a left instead of a right or a loop here and there to another place as there are several better options in the area.

Ordered a double cheeseburger and the meat is burger king thin. But what struck me most was the complete absence of taste of anything, followed by a smell that took me some time to identify. The burger and onion rings are smattered with paprika and the only thing that stands out is a paprika nice looking burger that smells like paprika and tastes like nothing.

I was skeptical at 1st because it didn't seem open but I pulled up to the speaker and placed my order for a regular ole double meat cheese burger."
