The Old Bag of Nails Pub - Upper Arlington — Restaurant in Upper Arlington

Twice during the past month November 2018], I have eaten at The Old Bag of Nails Pub [in the Tremont Shopping Center] after an absence of four years; the food there is as delicious as ever.

Between 2012 and 2014, a support group named "Recovering from Religion" had met on Saturday mornings at the Upper Arlington Public Library; that group has since "morphed" into a different group that meets at a different location.

After our meetings, most of us would walk over to The Old Bag of Nails Pub for lunch and to spend some additional time together. We would usually be seated in the west dining room; we would usually have that room to ourselves [except when there would be OSU football games going on at the same time].

Each time when I eat at The Old Bag of Nails Pub, I order Boneless Chicken Wings [Tender White Meat Chicken served breaded or grilled, tossed in your choice of Buffalo, Garlic Parmesan, Garlic Sesame, Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ, or Kamikaze Sauce!]. I always order "grilled" rather than "fried"; I always order "Buffalo" sauce.

The most recent time when I had eaten at The Old Bag of Nails Pub, I unexpectedly had been given a free Pub House Salad [Mixed Greens with Tomato, Bacon, Red Onion, Blue Cheese and Croutons because they had mistakenly made two salads for one customer.

Very unsanitary and unprofessional. The staff & management eats food off of your plate with dirty bare hands in the back before bringing it to your table. I witness this from working there a few weeks ago. I addressed it with management & told I was “complaining” and they don’t like people to complain so they let me go. I also have a voice recording of me addressing my concerns to management and his response was saying that he doesn’t like people complaining & just let them go. That is so unprofessional & shows the lack of concern about customers health & experience. please believe this is not a bitter review but HONEST REVIEW Which they probably will delete or deny, but I have all the proof if anyone would like to reach out and see for yourself- -I also have photos of this being done. I’m very disappointed As the customers should be as well. I’m also an influencer and will be posting that to my large following since no one wanted to rectify the situation And also to the food and health administrator with the times and dates Of the incidents. Because it is cameras in the kitchen, so those dates and times can be pulled and reviewed Then they can compare it to the Dates I have documented as well as to when I reported it, and I reported it to...

My family and I came in for dinner last night. After waiting about 10 minutes by the host station, we seated ourselves. There were no servers in the dinning room. My husband went to get a high chair and menus from the back and found the server chatting with another employee. He told her there were no servers by the host station so we seated ourselves. We waited at the table for an additional 10-15 minutes. My husband asked the bartender if there was anyone working and she ignored him. We waited a few more minutes, and then got up to leave. As we did the server my husband spoke to finally came out of the back and greeted us and a table who had been waiting since before we arrived. There really was no excuse for the delay because the restaurant was not busy.
