Panera Bread offers a variety of food options, and I recently tried their Mediterranean sandwich, grill sandwich, coffee, and margarita pizza.
First, the Mediterranean sandwich. It was good. However, the bread didn't feel as fresh as it could have been. That's a bit disappointing because fresh bread can make a big difference in a sandwich.
Next up, the grill sandwich. It was also tasty, but nothing too special. It felt like a basic sandwich that you could easily make at home. So, while it was good, it didn't stand out as something unique or memorable.
Then, the margarita pizza. This one had potential, but unfortunately, the dough was a little undercooked. That can really affect the taste and texture of the pizza. It's a shame because a well-cooked crust can make or break a pizza.
Overall, my experience at Panera Bread was decent. The food was okay, but there were definitely areas for improvement. One thing they could work on is offering more vegan and vegetarian options. With more people choosing plant-based diets these days, having a variety of options would make a lot of customers happy.
In conclusion, Panera Bread is a decent choice if you're looking for a quick meal, but don't expect anything too fancy. The Mediterranean sandwich was tasty despite the bread issue, and the grill sandwich was good but not exceptional. The margarita pizza had potential but fell short due to undercooked dough. With some improvements, especially in offering more vegan and vegetarian options, Panera Bread could elevate the dining experience for...
Read moreI periodically meet friends at the Panera Bread at 3278 Tremont Rd. to have lengthy conversations, to conduct business, etc.
Nearly always, that location is quiet and restful and is a great place to meet with others and to share some quality time together.
The one exception to that pattern is when I had agreed to meet a friend at that Panera Bread for an extended conversation but that location had been completely filled with high school students who had been talking loudly and standing, in a long line, waiting to order.
As soon as my friend had arrived for our extended conversation, I immediately suggested that we go next door to the Barnes & Noble at 3280 Tremont Rd. to see if there might be any chairs there where we could have our conversation. As soon as we had entered Barnes & Noble, we found the Café immediately to the right of the entrance door; we decided to have our conversation there.
We had been the only ones at the Café at Barnes & Noble; that location had, obviously, been far quieter than had been the Panera Bread next door.
It is nice to know that there is a backup location if the Panera Bread at 3278 Tremont Rd. is too...
Read moreI went to Panera Bread and ordered two bagels and a tropical green smoothie to eat there. I could only eat one bagel, so I decided to take the other one to go. I asked a staff member who was clearing empty plates if I could get my remaining bagel to go.
She responded by laughing, shaking her head, and ironically asking if I really wanted just one bagel to go. I said yes. She then went inside, presumably to get a bag, and told her coworker that I wanted my bagel to go. She returned, still smiling ironically, and asked again if I wanted one bagel to go. I confirmed, and she walked away again.
As I was standing near the ordering area, she came back and yelled, “Do you want one bagel to go?” I replied, “Yes, is there a problem?” She said there was no problem, muttered something I couldn’t hear, and left.
Eventually, I got my bagel to go, but the whole experience was very uncomfortable. I keep wondering why she...
