Today is June 9, 2022. Yesterday morning I was just literally expressing my upset for not getting a call to let me know that I could pick up the blades. And I have realized that about the price of sharpening the blades there was miscommunication. But I never realized that the owner Mr. Nutter cares very much about his customers. He left a voicemail to me, and tried to make me happy. After I called him back this morning, he decided to give me some compensation(store credit). I have accepted that. I really appreciate for the positive action that Mr. Nutter is going to take, and his habit to care about his customers' feelings. In this case, I have learnt that one blade in a lawn mower is a standard form.
Today is June 8, 2022. I am not happy with this store. On May 30, around 10 am, I called the store, asked about the price of sharpening lawn mower blades. I was told it would be $12. I felt surprised about the price. At my nearby hardware store Zettler, its price is $25. "Why is it so big different?" I asked:"Only $12? The price at other store is expensive!""Yep, we are only $12." I trusted him. "Its price is so cheap! This is why my friend recommended it to me!" I thought myself after hanging up the phone. Last Friday, I drove almost 4 more times of the miles to Nutter than to Zettler with a happy mood. But I was told the price for two blades are $25, not $12 (I first time had a lawn mower and cut the lawn two years ago. I had no idea about how many blades are there in a lawn mower. I thought there are two blades in all lawn mowers), and I was told when it done, would call me right away. But it was not. My grass is growing so fast, so long now, but I can't cut it because there are no blades. So, this morning around 8 am, I called Nutter, I was told the blades were already done on Monday. That means if I didn't make the call this morning, my blades would probably forever lay in this store. In my opinion, the service of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had to bring my Ego mower here for a repair under warranty. The wait time of 4-6 weeks was longer than I had hoped, but it is reasonable considering that the only certified Ego mechanic in the area is here. Dropping off the mower was a quick and easy process, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Considering the wait time, i was pleasantly surprised to learn that they have a free Ego loaner program that provides a rental for 3 hours at a time by appointment during the repair process.
I received a call yesterday from the mechanic, Kyle, informing me that the mower was repaired and ready for pickup. I was very impressed with the customer service. Kyle spent over 15 minutes on the phone with me, explaining what the likely culprit was, what he had replaced, answering all my questions, and taking the extra time to give advice on how to best take care of the mower to get the longest life out of it. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and was the icing on the cake of an exceptional experience at this location. I expected any process involving warranty claims to be a huge headache, but on the contrary, they made it extremely easy. The services offered here are great and I can't speak to the actual hardware store, but as is so often the case, the people are what make the difference, and the people that I worked with at Nutter...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had an amazing experience! I was greeted as soon as I entered the door and I had and sales person ask me if they could help me right away. I walked in with my head spinning about different brands of power tools and promo offers. But Dan was VERY knowledgeable and worked to make sure I not only made an informed choice, but the most economical.
I appreciated how straight forward he was about their pricing and their competitors. I did indeed go to Home Depot to see if a better deal could be had on the same tools. I walked in and was sent to the wrong area. When I did get to the correct area I walked around looking at the tools waiting for 1 OF THE 4 EMPLOYEES in the section to help me. All of them saw me, but none of them elected to help. After about 20 minutes I got frustrated the left to go back to Nutter Hardware.
When I came back I was once again greeted with the same great service, purchased my tools, and left feeling great about it.
Service counts for something. I ended up getting a better deal at Nutter Hardware anyway which makes it all even better.
I'd recommend anyone come here for their hardware needs and...
