NEW YORK PIZZA — Restaurant in Upper Darby

Absolutely horrible experience. Placed an online order and received a deeply substituted version of the entree I ordered. No communication to alert me that they did not have the ingredients necessary to make my meal or to give me the option of selecting something else. They substituted the two major ingredients with subpar options and sent the meal out for delivery. When I notified, Slice (online ordering platform), they did liaise with New York Pizza to troubleshoot the issue and conferenced the owner of NY pizza into the call. After repeatedly cutting me off and talking over me, he admitted to making the substitutions and directed Slice to refund my pasta entree. Though really jarred by the interaction, I was satisfied with the outcome until the owner called me an hour later and harassed me under the guise of explaining what happened. Interesting that he couldn’t call to tell me that his establishment was out of the two ingredients in the title of my entree but could call me almost 2 hours after the order was placed to harass me. I just found my new favorite pizza spot in Upper Darby - New York Pizza! Their Meat Lover's Pizza is REALLY GOOD 🤤 loaded with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and ham! They actually cook the crust to perfection, they don’t use a pizza screen and it's PERFECT 🍞 crispy bottom, chewy inside!
