Updated I went here recently with my mom. We had just left the hospital for a procedure for her and we were starving. We wanted Asian and the place we wanted was closed, so I thought of this place. I noticed on their Google listing that they close at 2:30 for break time. I called ahead to ask if we could come and dine in (it was a little past 2). They said it was fine as long as we left by 3. When we arrived, they sat us in the corner. The server had just mopped the floor so now I know they have been cleaning it. The server is always the same one that I get. She’s soft spoken, polite, and sweet. I’m so glad they let us dine in there and they didn’t try to rush us. My mom is a cancer patient so it was important for her to eat something after her procedure and I’ve been wanting to take her here, which was when it was empty so it turned out to be a perfect situation. I’m thankful that the restaurant accommodated us. —-—-—-—-— I’ve dined here twice now and I am overall pleased with their food and service. Their menu looks great and they have such a wide variety of options. I love that they serve takoyaki! It’s such a rare find at sushi restaurants for me. The interior is nicely designed with a modern look. My only complaint about this place is their floors. They don’t seem to clean them because it’s always sticky and grimy. I wish they would mop the floors. Maybe next time I go I will say something about it because it’s such a turn off for customers, especially for a nice restaurant in a new development. Otherwise, I think this place has a lot of potential and is a nice addition...
Read moreI came here twice for lunch so far. I like the plaza the restaurant is in. Even though the parking lot seems a bit packed during the lunch hour, there are plenty of spots in that parking lot and we were easily able to located one.
Restaurant itself was very clean and relaxing. This place does close down after 2:30pm and reopen for dinner around 5 or 5:30pm. I got there at 2:20pm and was still able to be seated. And yes, I did call ahead of time to find out what is their last seating for lunch. In my opinion, I feel their service could have been better. It definitely ain’t the best. The staff was either tired or just not passionate about her work much.
Food wise I think they are not too bad. Typical Japanese restaurant to me. I ordered a Tonkatsu ramen for my kids. The portion seems normal with an alright soup base. I had the Alaskan poke bowl. Now that one the portion was pretty decent. I did substitute edamame with extra avocado. My husband ordered their Chirashi. The sashimi are fresh and well sliced in size and thickness. Portion seems pretty good too.
Will I come back? Possibly if I am around the area. But there are definitely better food quality and services Japanese restaurants...
Read moreI really try not to leave negative reviews, but I’m becoming increasingly frustrated by their take out service. Twice now we have ordered through their online platform which has indicated it would be ready in 30 minutes. When we go to pick up at the time it’s supposed to be ready, we end up waiting another 30+ minutes. This has been our experience the last TWO times we’ve ordered here. It’s extremely frustrating. We ordered tonight at 5:57pm. It’s currently 7:01 and we still do not have our order!! If it’s going to be an hour, please update your system to show that so we are not wasting our time waiting.
We love the food, frequently dine in, but the take out experience is...
