Capt. Max’s Dockside Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Upper Grand Lagoon

We ate upstairs. There is no waiter/waitress up stairs that comes to your table. You have to go to the bartender to order your food and also to get your own refills. The view is the best thing about the restaurant. They got our order wrong on my son's food. When we told the waitress she seemed like she got annoyed and questioned what we said. When I recieved my order my buffalo chicken wrap had so much buffalo sauce in it I had to have them re-make it. We will not return to this restaurant again. The tip money we left was a joke bc we waited on ourselves. "Update" from the reply from the owner. We always ask about sauces when it comes to going to a restaurant. Bc some restaurants allow 1 or 2 with the meal. That's the only thing that we asked about when it came to cost outside the meals we paid for. We were not asking for so much we were asking for the bare minimum. I could have asked to not be charged for the buffalo wrap bc it was made wrong in the first place, but I didn't. You need to stop being so rude with your comments and take accountability when it comes to yalls mistakes. No one is asking for anything free. You make your guests pre pay for everything before they recieve any type of service or even get their food to see if it's correct and that they are happy...

Love, love, love this place and the bartenders and staff have become like family. It's become my favorite local spot on the water. It’s a marina bar, so expect laid back & chill. Order from the bar & take a number; they bring it upstairs from the kitchen below. Either sit at the bar or grab a table with your number, grab your drink, and expect to listen to great music, watch the boats & charters come in behind a gorgeous sunset with a nice breeze upstairs. They also have fun themed days & weekends with drink and food specials.

Staff are excellent and work their butts off; standing ovation all around. Food is also excellent with a bar & grill style menu - try the tacos and shrimp wrap; but everything I've had is great. Order at the bar, take a number and navigate your way.

Remember, this is a MARINA bar & grill and the vibe is exactly that. If you want to be fine wined and dined, this isn’t the place for you; and THAT is what makes this place fabulous. Go here if you want great food, great drinks, chill atmosphere, and awesome staff and people.
