Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Upper Merion Township

Oh man. I’ve had plenty of occurrences that helped make this review, and if you have the time to read this it will save you a lot of time and frustration. This is by far THE WORST CHICK FIL A I have EVER been to. I have absolutely no Idea how the people in charge are still in charge.

Things to note about this chick fil a:

Their food quality is sub par. RARELY fresh, and 8/10 stale. (No, not a joke.) examples include: fruit cups.- Baby has either gotten weird bitter tasting apples, mushy blueberries, bitter strawberries. Fries: always stale. Always . Stale. Nuggets: like they sat in a pile of old oil.

They ALWAYS forget something of your order and they DO NOT CARE. I’ve have 22 orders in the past 4 months. ALL OF THESE ORDERS HAD 1 OR 2 ITEMS MISSING. I mean like 12 count grilled nuggets missing. Or my favorite you order a 12 count they give you an 8 count in a 12 count cup. What does the Manager do about this? he sends you breakfast coupons to your app and invites you to come back like it never happened. And then you go back and your #1 meal along with 2 fries are missing out of your whole order again. Thanks!

They’re customer service is INSANELY below chick fil a quality. No smiles, no enthusiasm, they even interrupt you while ordering. At least at McDonald’s I know what to expect but this place gives McDonald attitudes at chick fil a prices.

They don’t even GIVE STRAWS! Fruit cups? They don’t give forks!!

Honorable mentions: during my last trip here I ordered a peppermint shake, I tasted it and it tasted odd and bland, I also didn’t taste any peppermint bark. So I asked. The boy with a smile in his face replied “oh, we ran out”. This was not even MENTIONED when I first ordered. They basically scammed me out of a peppermint milkshake.. how is this even allowed?..

They give you 3 sauces for an order with 3 meals. Read it again.

Positive things I’ve learned about this chick Fil-A: Thanks to the 22 (yes that’s a real number) consecutive orders I’ve gotten wrong I re-discovered an old faithful. Audobon Chick Fil A in the East Norriton Plaza where the Walmart is. Most of us are forced to go to this Dekalb pike chick fil a because of distance, convenience and mileage. Well not no more! I rather limit my times out and go to a chick fil a that has MAYBE forgotten one sauce, but MOST important food Is always fresh!!! You know how nice it is to get grilled nuggets that just came out the grill or were not in the warmer for 4 hours? Fries that are not stale and crusty or dumped in salt but rather FRESH in and hot with perfect salt? Thanks chick fil a Audubon! Bless whoever still needs...

I am a huge fan of CFA, the only reason I go there was always always always the service. I used to get 10 stars service at this location. Now I cannot even get -2 stars service. The drive through is still great service, when you do curve side is not as great anymore. I noticed these changes in the past two weeks really. I also do GrubHub abd Door Dash after today I'll skip any other at this location. I noticed a full staff. I am not sure what the problem is but they have been dropping the ball with delivery drivers. One time last week, I was there for curve side, I had to go to the drive through to get my foid. Now do not get me wrong I really appreciate CFA paying a higher rate so they could have a full staff. I am asking the new staff to keep the standard alive. I have been directing my Door Dash and GrubHub customers to the location in Audubon. They are not playing. The location in East Norriton DO NOT wast your time with them. This location need to be close as off last year. We know it you can do this CFA. Fast food around the country does not believe in great customer service anymore at this rate McDonald's and BK are both better and they are extremely horrible. I'll pick up one more order from 135 Dekalb pike and I'll update you guys if this place is finally on the ghetto suburbs...

Its sad that this location has went down hill in the last few months. I had a few complaints that i let slide but enough is enough. From burnt soggy fries to cold sandwiches. This location used to be friendly and very fast. Its no slow and sloppy. Today i had a very cringy encounter with kevin mcdavid the operator/owner treated me as if my money did t matter. First my spicy chicken sandwich deluxe wasnt deluxe, it was cold with cold cheese. I specifically asked for hot and fresh. I say hey this isnt what what i ordered he says can i see your receipt i show him hes like “ u didnt pay for deluxe” i said well thats what i asked for. So he voids the order rerings it just to have me pay .40. Goes to the back brings me another cold sandwich and told me it was fresh meanwhile cheese is still cold. I stick my finger in the sandwich to prove its cold. He snatches the sandwich and first says “ill just give u a refund, then say ill remake it one more, again treating me like a burden. Comes out with that same exact sandwich and says he microwaved it i couldnt believe it.. i say where are my fries which i never had he laughs so i say just give me my money back .. davids store is in total choas was much better a year ago.. horrible now Trooper road or inside the mall will due u...
