Fortunoff Backyard Store — Local services in Upper Merion Township

Purchased patio furniture from the King of Prussia PA store and it was delivered when promised. However when the delivery people left, they took some pillows that were left on the truck but upon our contact they returned within minutes.

Then we were notified by email that we were the third winners of a $100 gift card that the KOP store was to have. However, when we drove from iyr home in Pottstown PA to the Fortunoff store in King of Prussia, we were informed the store didn't have the card. The store manager Cary Black called the corporate headquarters to get a code that could be used in place of the gift card but was unable to do so. So, we went home . Then upon arriving at home Mr Black called and said he got what he needed. We were able to purchase the furniture covers less the $100 gift card credit over the phone with a credit card. The covers arrived today, 8/2 which was 2 days earlier than its arrival date.

Overall, our experience with Fortunoff was okay. We were under the impression that the gift card would be at the KOP store as it was never mailed out, but was not there...

We were at this store at 10:30 and they opened at 11. G came out and allowed us to go in early 10:48 while she was putting out the cushions on the furniture. When we were asking questions, her response was, I am answering the other question now and will get to yours. She was not warm or inviting or even interested in what we were doing. I told her I just put a 12x40 deck on my house and am looking to furnish it. My partner asked what the carry it out the door price was because there was a big sign on the windows that said clearance sale(don’t waste your time), G said I would call the police. Really, then he asked if we paid for the rug could we pick it up later and she said we don’t hold merchandise. Her tone was extremely snotty. We left and will find somewhere else to spend our money. I don’t need to be treated like this. While I am sure that it was her problem, not mine, I don’t need to be exposed to that kind...

Looking for deck furniture. Unexpected stop in, we were driving by, turned in see what Fortunoff's had. We found it with the help of Heather Fortune, (not kidding, that's her name), and are looking forward to our delivery. Great experience!

We went back, to add another piece of furniture. Once again, Heather made the purchase smooth and easy. We were able to add the new item to be delivered with our original order, no additional delivery charge. Heather made it happen!
