i have never written a review in my whole life but the way i was treated by one of the workers there made me feel like i had to write something. so today i went to the king of prussia mall with my friend we are 16(me) and 17(her) after shopping for a bit we decided to get food i’ve never tried this restaurant but i decided to try because my friends food looked pretty good so i ended up going into the line. as i go into the line i see two workers they seemed busy so i was going to wait until they were done doing what they were doing(they both had two bowls in their hands) i wasn’t super hungry so i did not mind at all waiting because i know how it can be stressful in the kitchen sometimes from having friends who work in the food industry! but after one minute of standing one worker goes “are you going to order” so then i go and say “oh yeah sorry may i have the create your own bowl please” in a neutral voice not loud but not at all quiet then the other worker(the worker that was making my food and the worker that gave me and my friend the problem!) goes “can you speak up” and i go “yeah, sorry i have a hard time talking to people because i don’t like confrontation!” which i know confrontation is not the right word in this context but it was obvious i was telling him i have bad social anxiety. he goes “ok” then i ask him for lettuce and white rice and there was no problem so i was relieved because i thought maybe i was actually talking quiet and didn’t know it but then i go ask him for cucumbers and carrots and he rolls his eyes and asks my friend who is still next to me and has seen this all go down to order for me for my sake and then proceeded to ask her to do it for his sake. after that when i ask him for chicken then his coworker comes and starts a conversation with him and then he proceeds to say “oh he is shy and didn’t like confrontation but we all actually know what’s happening with them” implying that me and my friend whom is a person of color were being racist which i find that truly disgusting because i would never EVER imply that a kid is racist just because he simply has social anxiety. anyways the...
Read moreI was really looking forward to this place as my family and I had never tried it before. Needless to say, I was totally disappointed with everything. First, we placed a mobile order for pickup at 1:15pm and did not physically receive our order until 1:40pm. We arrived around 1:20 pm and had to wait in line to ask about our order. Once my husband got up to the counter, he was told that the order was ready, but he had to wait in the "pick-up" area. So he waited an additional 12 minutes as everyone else in line received their orders. That was a really awful first impression and it was just generally rude. Poor service, especially when the food isn't cheap and we placed the order almost an hour before our pickup time. The food was not good either. The portion sizes were fine and the ingredients seemed fresh, however, I couldn't taste anything but cilantro. There was so much cilantro that it overpowered the entire bowl; I could barely taste the pickled onions and there was no trace of sauce. My kids got a side of focaccia and hummus with their food, but the bread was so dry that you could barely swallow it. The apples and tortilla chips that came with their meal were saturated in whatever dressing they use on the chicken, making them soggy and inedible. I can't see myself going back there again. Total waste of...
Read moreIt's 2025, and sadly, racism behavior are still very real — even in upscale places like this mall.
Most of the staff were friendly, but I had a very upsetting interaction with the server in the photo. He was incredibly rude and condescending. It felt like every customer had to FOLLOW his personal rules. If you were still looking at the menu when he said “hi”, he will repeated that same word and let you order until you said “hi” back. “Please give me couple more minutes” is a NO, you have to say the word “hi”. He also corrected my wording in a patronizing way, then literally laughed in my face and mocked what I said. When I placed my order and said “lettuce,” he cut me off and said, “Oh, it’s not lettuce, it’s called romaine,” then laughed dismissively while repeating the word lettuce in a mocking tone. If I wanted kale, I would’ve said kale. If I meant spinach, I would’ve said spinach. Does sweet green has other lettuce than romaine? No! There’s no reason to belittle someone over how they phrase a food order.
His attitude was humiliating and felt deeply disrespectful and rude. I didn’t come here to be lectured, mocked, or made to feel out of place. This kind of behavior should have no place in public service, and it’s disappointing to encounter it in a...
