Five Guys — Restaurant in Upper Moreland Township

pretty solid experience i'd say. the fries were incredible, and they dropped a bunch in the bag like they're known for. the actual patties on the burgers themselves are not all too flavorful, but all the toppings on the burgers make up for it; the lettuce and onions were fresh, the bacon was crisp, and the barbecue sauce was pretty good. the milkshakes are pretty standard for your average burger place. a star was docked from the food score because of the bland patties. the service was excellent, and the people here are very friendly and attentive, which is very nice to see at a fast food place, although the patties did take a pretty long time to cook, which docks it a star. however, this is very close to opening, so i'm sure that as the employees get more familiar with the processes of the job it will speed up, so i'm positive that this will not be an issue for much longer. the atmosphere is pretty good, but it's a fast food joint, so take that how you will. overall, it's pretty solid with a few kinks to iron out. i particularly love how everything you get here is as fresh as it can get---the patty came straight from the grill onto the bun and into the bag. so, for anyone coming to try it, it's very premium as far as fast food goes, but it's still just fast food. if i could rate 4 and a half stars, i would. i just don't think it's earned itself...

they dont recycle, the burger fell flat, prices seem like they jumped!

the most unfortunate thing was the fact that they sell bottled sodas and bottled water - displaying them in large tub on the counter - yet they do not have a single recycling bin on site or available. An associate told me to "just throw the plastic water bottles away". in addition to that, the burger was not how i remember Five Guys (last time i had it was a few years ago) and the prices are quite higher since then given the fact that fries arent even included. We spent over $40 on two people (and we SHARED just one fries). Makes going to a full service restaurant seem like a better option.

Will not come here again specifically because of the recycling issue above all but even if they had a bin, the food did not leave us...

This place is incredibly frustrating to order mobile from. If more than one person is at the mobile pickup window, the team (multiple different crews with this same result) will only ask the first person their order. Then wait and make their fries, and then once they are given their meals minutes later, they then ask for the next person.

I arrived here at 12:45 and I finally asked the man for my order that I put in at 12:22. I had one gentleman in front of me and was stared at multiple times without any service. Whoever the manager is of this place, fix your crews. They all have blank stares when you ask them something. I see five workers and 4 of them are standing around.

I'm just now walking out at 1:02pm, August 8th.

Get better. Do better. I'll go to smashburger next...
