A Slice of Rome Pizzeria — Restaurant in Utica

Oh my goodness! The pizza was PHENOMENAL! I have NEVER had such good pizza. It was authentic Italian pizza. The cheese bread was also amazing. The sauce that comes with the cheese bread wasn't your typical marinara but yummy none the less. The antipasta Salad was meh. Unfortunately I would have to order without onions, maybe it's cause I dont like them but it seemed more like an onion salad then anything else. And the dressing came on the salad, not sure if that's an option or not I didn't place the order. I'd prefer on the side. Everyone inside was very friendly and prices are very reasonable. Atmosphere isn't anything too special. There's just some seating by the window if you'd like to eat there but it's mainly what I'd call a grab and go type of pizzeria. Overall I would get again and I would recommend to family and friends. We really wish we could use this for our summer camp pizza days, unfortunately they requested we order the night before which is sadly not feasible for us. Maybe...

Hate to do this but 75$ for 3 medium pizzas (I'm sure door dash adds quite a bit this isn't a complaint about price, just quality) compels me, two of which were nuked to the point of inedible. It's a shame, first(and last) time trying this place too. As stated, pizza was like dominos from the 90s, cardboard. No one will eat it

Edit: To respond to the owner. You missed the part where it was inedible. You also didn't read where I mentioned doordash being more expensive. The cost was the least of my concern so much as it was legit burned to cardboard and it was tossed. Did you see me ask for a refund, that wasn't the issue?

I wish I would've discovered this place sooner. The pizza was excellent! I don't know how long the location on Hall Rd has been open. I just noticed it for the first time yesterday. So today while I was out and about I decided to get a pizza for my lunch. I love the shredded pepperoni and the other items are cut small also. It makes it so much easier to eat a piece of pizza when you take a bite and everything isn't pulling off of the slice as you're pulling it away from your mouth! It was cooked to perfect crispness. The crust was good. The items were fresh. It was easy to eat in my car at the park where my dog and I went just after picking it up. I'm moving away from this area in 2 months and wish I would've discovered this place sooner. But I'll definitely go there again while I'm still...
