I am still struggling to understand what just happened. I understand being new and in training, I also know how to train employees having owned a business for 14 years and now being a manager.. you don't just leave trainees unsupervised, you TRAIN THEM and help them. I have been eating here for 15+ years... three of us went for lunch. 1 ordered a corona, it was met by an empty stare from a trainee waitress, followed by "what is that?" us "beer" "ohhhh a beer" then 1 ordered a Pacifico. followed by another empty stare then, "is that another beer?" us "yes", then I ordered a coke. Another waitress came with the beers, I said I ordered a coke too and she didn't hear me so my boyfriend said , "She ordered a Coke" The waitress rudely asked what I wanted and said a coke, she said "what kind" I said, fountain is fine.. so the 3 burritos came out minutes apart and we finally all started eating. The room was warm and the beers weren't that cold so my boyfriend asked the trainee for some cold glasses. This too was met by empty stares, and Paul re-stated he would like cold glasses to put the beer in. The waitress asked "like with ice?" and he said "No, cold glasses from a freezer" she just stared at us. I asked if she could get another person to help her. She walked away, as she got to the kitchen I heard her go "OHHHH" like it suddenly hit her what he wanted. the cold mugs came out and we continued our meal..everything was fine, then a while later the waitress from earlier who brought the beers came over and was very mad, accusing us of upsetting the trainee, saying we were rude to her by asking for someone else to help us..we tried to explain what happened and that we weren't rude to her, but she didn't understand what we were asking for so I asked for her to find help... this turned out horrible and the waitress started yelling at us that she is in training and very upset .. then told us to not worry about paying and leave or she'd call the COPS saying we were "RUDE THE WHOLE TIME, EVEN WHEN WE ASKED FOR THE COKE" WTF I'm SOOOO confused and my stomach hurts... we obviously left but I'm flabbergasted at what just happened, I didn't get to finish my meal, my friend had a lousy birthday and our visit was cut short over WHAT exactly? This place was the best and I'm confused and surprised over...
Read moreThis place screams “local,” and in a good way! Actually, that isn't true. The place welcomes you like you are long-standing customer, even when you aren't.
Tucked into a nondescript, old school, strip mall a few blocks off the freeway, you have either live here or stumble upon it. Our group was in the latter category. And thank goodness we did!
Incredibly warm and friendly customer service. Tasty tacos. Nicely varied salsas and fresh pico. A range of drinks. Checks all the boxes for a quick lunch, take out, or even dinner (as their menu is extensive without being overwhelming). The dining room? It is functional and does the job.
Any time my group is in the area, we will be stopping here. And I would recommend others take the time to discover this place.
Thanks for a great experience. It was the perfect stop on our...

Anyways I would be a complete idiot to hate the whole city of Vacaville for giving birth to such horrible band...
