Excellent ice cream but I did not have a good experience on my last visit. I ordered what I usually order in the "Gotta Have It" size. Usually when they prepare a little more than the cup can hold, they give you the extra amount in either the next size up or a tiny cup when you get the larger size. Anyway, this time around, the young lady left half of my mix-ins on the prep table and when I asked her about my extra ice cream she said I had to pay for it. I was charged for a child's create your own. I basically was charged twice for the mix-ins. My order included banana which they only add 1/3 of a banana anyway and she left 1/2 of that on the prep table. I should've spoken to a manager because I've never been charged for my extra ice cream. I didn't order extra. The workers measure the ice cream and sometimes they prepare a little bit more. I should've walked out, not purchased anything and went to the Fairfield store instead. The Coldstone franchise is my favorite ice creamery and has been for 10 years now but the Vacaville store really needs to work on consistency in Customer service and treatment. I love the environment and the ice cream and I love seeing the young employees with their vibrant customer service and I’ve been putting off this review for a few days because I wasn’t sure if it was worth speaking up about but I’ve decided it would be better to than to not. On Sunday the 4th I visited Cold Stone and while standing in line I overheard one employee (I believe her name tag said Emily) speaking vulgarly to the other. She was asking about a milkshake or something and called the other employee a “big f-ing dummy head” and that just seemed super uncalled for. Read moreI made an order at 8:30 am this morning for delivery for a ice cream taco and another ice cream. It was supposed to be delivered at 12:15. I had surgery and can't drive, otherwise I would have picked it up when they opened. At 12:15 I got a message that my order was cancelled. No explanation, just a text that it was cancelled and to call the store. I called the store and was told very rudely and abruptly that the ice cream taco was sold out. I ordered at 8:30! It was only one taco. They obviously didn't make the orders first in first. My fault for thinking they'd honor the orders that were there first!
