I haven't been to a Starbucks in a couple of years, and after having gone to this one, I probably won't be going back again. My order was placed and seem to be fairly simple, yet they didn't get it right. When I explain to them what I actually ordered, then they went ahead and gave me the drink that I wanted, but not in the correct size. It really wasn't worth my while to continue to push the subject because I had pretty much had enough of the situation at that time. Starbucks customer service has diminished greatly over the last number of years and I'm not really sure why, because when they started out they were probably the best customer service of any business that I've been into! Now they just have lots of young people that don't seem to be taught the motivation of true customer service. Although they always know how to take your money! Guess it's just a sign of the times! Read moreThe moment I stepped into the store, I was met with dirty looks from two of the Baristas. I won’t assume their genders but they were both ginger. I then proceeded to order, I asked for 2 bagels and a cookie please. One of the baristas then tells me “We sell drinks at Starbucks. Do you want one of those.” I was immediately taken aback by their tone and comment. I did end up ordering a drink but I didn’t feel comfortable asking for something as simple as a caramel drizzle. I completely understand that the holidays are busy and working in food service is taxing on the mind and body but I came in very respectfully and didn’t do anything to warrant the way I was treated. Employee, Lindsey, told me there was siracha and I had to backtrack out of my car once I realized there were no packets in my sandwich bag. Don’t assume you have product then hand out an order without the request made by the consumer. When I came back to get my order fixed, Lindsey knew she messed up when ringing my order in and didn’t even compensate… Being a pescatarian, I clearly ordered an impossible sandwich and was given a sausage cheddar. I have never and would never order that item. I get that you’re busy for the holidays but that’s no excuse for wasting my time.
